DAVIES and FINNIGAN were always excellent friends in Hogwarts. They were in the same year, the same dorm, the same classes- they even played on the Quidditch team together as beaters. They were known in their year as inseparable and best friends, who never fought and always seemed to be having a good time. It was no surprise to anyone that the two bought a house together once they graduated from Hogwarts. It was a mutually beneficial investment, and the two friends were able to stay close to each other and enjoy each other’s' company for a couple more years.

It was also common knowledge that DAVIES and SLOPER had always been into one another. The two had tiptoed around the idea of a relationship, but had never jumped into it while they were in school. Finally, out of Hogwarts and more confident, DAVIES asked SLOPER out on a date. The two started to see each other regularly and also began to date exclusively.

When SLOPER went on one of her earlier dates with DAVIES, she presented the idea of a double date. DAVIES would bring his friend FINNIGAN, and she would bring her close friend WEASLEY. Both SLOPER and DAVIES felt that their friends should get out and meet someone, so they took the idea by the horns and went with it, dragging their friends reluctantly along with them. WEASLEY and FINNIGAN got along well, but still felt that their meeting was under awkward circumstances.

After that date, WEASLEY and FINNIGAN started to run into each other more often. SLOPER and DAVIES defaulted on their two friends when they wanted to spend time with a "group". The two ended up sharing a lot of conversation, and found that they rather enjoyed each other's company. Flirting slowly made its way into their conversations, and the slightest of feelings were starting to grow within each of them...for the other.

More than half a year into SLOPER and DAVIES's relationship, the two began to fight incessantly. It started with small spats, which the two settled, but with disgruntled attitudes. Soon, they were frequenting shouting matches in DAVIES and FINNIGAN's apartment, so much so that the neighbors would have to yell over them to get them quiet. After a particularly horrible fight, SLOPER stormed out of the apartment, and the two have yet to speak to one another.

With DAVIES and SLOPER refusing to speak to one another, there is a definite strain on FINNIGAN and WEASLEY's friendship. SLOPER has made it quite clear that she doesn't want WEASLEY spending any time near DAVIES or his friends, and DAVIES would surely beat FINNIGAN to a pulp if he heard that he was still associating with SLOPER's crowd.

Will FINNIGAN and WEASLEY be able to remain friends, or possibly something more?
Will DAVIES and SLOPER ever speak again? And if they do, will they stay together?
If DAVIES and SLOPER find out about FINNIGAN and WEASLEY's continuing friendship, will they alienate themselves from their friends as well?
