Dear Gracie,
why must you be so much older? Speaking to you in person would be so much better, but I will settle for sending you letters via Ty. How are things going? I was thinking... Perhaps I could stay with you over Christmas? It wouldbe so nice to be with you and Harm for an extended period of time!
Much love,
Astrid T. Dollinger

Dear Ash, I am not that much older thank you very much. Only two years and you’ll be done with school soon enough. Things have been going well. I’ve been spending a fair amount of time with Tony and Harm. How is everything with you?
I would love for you to stay with us for Christmas! You know you’re basically family to us. Harm would love to see Mammy Ash.
Love, Gracie

Dear Gracie,
Are you sure about that? I think I saw wrinkles last time we hung out! Only joking of course, but since you'll no longer be a teenager with your next birthday, guess who's getting some prune juice and wrinkle cream. That's right, y-o-u. Will I get to formally meet Tony over Christmas then? And I hope you're prepared for a very spoiled daughter coming up then! I'd say everything is right well on my end. Studying quite hard for the N.E.W.T.'s. I know they're not for a while, but a girl can be prepared, right?
Much love,

Dear Ash, Astrid! I am shocked that you would say such things. I'll have you know there's not a single wrinkle. Please don't remind me. I can't believe I'll be twenty in a few months time. Though trust me. Nothing is as scary as childbirth. Yes, you will get to meet Tony over Christmas. Along with the rest of the family. Just hope the Dad and brother approve of him. You shouldn't spoil Harm! Not that I listen to my own advice so I don't expect you to listen. You can never be too prepared Ash. I'm glad to know your still serious about school. How's your family?
Love, Gracie

Dear Gracie,
Grace! A few great months, and I'll be right there to celebrate with you! It's not like turning twenty means anything great. You're an adult, you can do whatever you want, and you've already got a great job and a daughter. And who knows, maybe something great with Tony? I really approve. Ex-headboy, son of the minister, auror? It can't get much better! I'm positive Nick will approve! The family is okay. I haven't spoken to Dylan since way before summer ended. Tia's good, I'm afraid she's gonna follow Dylan's example though. Louis thinks I'm adopted. It'd make sense wouldn't it?
Much love,

Dear Ash, I know I've done pretty much everything adulthood consists of. Well apart from marriage. I did things a bit more backwards than my parents have liked. But still, turning twenty means I'm getting old Ash, I don't want to be old. I hope they all do approve of Tony. As you've just listed, what's not to like about him. Add in the fact that Harm already refers to him as Daddy Tony. I leave them alone one weekend and she's got him wrapped around her little finger.
Louis might be right. You should look into that. Just keep an eye on Tia. Maybe your good influence will outweigh Dylan's influence.
Love, Gracie
