Personality:

It may be hard to believe but Fred Weasley has a very low self esteem. He often struggles with not being funny enough, or athletic enough, sometimes he even feels like he's not Weasley enough. It's kind of hard to pin point why he thinks so low of himself but it could just be a whole bunch of things. Like the fact that he feels he needs to live up to his name sake and that he's a constant reminder that his uncle is very much dead. Or maybe its the fact that his younger sister is already ten times cooler then him or that no one will ever give him attention like they'll give his cousins. "Oh wait... your father isn't Ron? Let's go talk to Rose, maybe she has some cool stories about him"

Other then that Fred's pretty nice. He doesn't enjoy seeing people sad or depressed so he tries to make them laugh. One of his favorite things in the whole world is to hear a heartfelt laugh that comes from someone who is truly happy. Often you'll find him doing odd muggle magic tricks to help brighten up people's days or making fun of himself in some way, shape or form. He'll even stoop so low as telling a joke and getting the punch line wrong if it'll make someone stop crying.

General History:

Fred Weasley has always seen his life as a joke. First off, he's a ginger and a Weasley. Might as well put a big target on you arse and then run around the school naked with a sign that says 'Kick Me'. And for the record, he isn't the Fred Weasley (sorry girls for the disappointment). But seriously, what kind of question is that? Does this strapping young ging' look like a ghost to you? If your answer is yes then I suggest getting a monocle or something along those lines. It doesn't end there though, its as if his family thinks he's a joke. It's not secret Roxy is, and forever will be, the sparkle in their parents eyes. And did you know what his gift was when he finally made it on the Quidditch team? A BURROWING OWL. They don't even fly that well! But please, don't be deceived, Freddie loves his little owl as if it was his own flesh and blood however, there just no particle use of having a burrowing owl deliver you're mail in the morning.

For most of his life Fred loved joke and pranks. Come on, when your father is George Weasley and you grow up at Weasley Wizard Wheezes you don't really have a choice. And for all of his childhood he was probably the most annoying little shit you'll ever have the pleasure of meeting. This only increased ten fold when he was trying to impress his many, many cousins. And just a little insight, its very hard to stand out when you are born in the same year as James Potter, Molly Weasley, and Rose Weasley. He tried so hard to be the 'cool' one by smuggling in defective pranks his father had thrown away, using fowl language even if he didn't know what it meant, and flirting with girls twice his age. Plus, Fred always claimed that he was, in fact, Grandma's favorite grandchild, but in all reality it was probably Molly. (It's not to hard to figure out why.) Looking back on it Fred couldn't be more embarrassed by his younger self especially because his obnoxious behavior wasn't just limited to family gatherings when he was a small child, oh no, it bled well into his early years at Hogwarts.

A very young and a very naive Fred Weasley enjoyed talking back to teachers, placing dead rats in the girls bathroom, and exploring the school in the middle of the night. His first three years at Hogwarts were more like blurrs and he can only remember receiving detentions (and getting jinxed by very skilled 6th year girls.) It wasn't until his forth year that things changed and it was all because out of the blue now he had a goal. Before he was just living for other people, trying to impress them or make them laugh, but now he finally had a goal for himself and that was Quidditch. He wanted so badly to be apart of a team that it hurt, both figuratively and literally. When he wasn't working at WWW, Fred was out on his broom practicing Quidditch. Personally, he thought he was horrible at it. Everytime his cousins came over he seemed to be on the loosing team and it wasn't like he had some kind of natural gift for any of the positions but when fall rolled around again he somehow got onto the team.

Being accepted onto the Quidditch team was one of the best days of Fred's young life and it was the first domino that led to many other great day's in Mr. Weasley's life. Like the day he got and kissed his first girlfriend, and then a few weeks later when he dumped his first girlfriend. There was also that day he got his grades back and they were all above average. Lets not forget the first time he took part in winning a Quidditch match, which was soon followed by the time he got so drunk he tried kissing any girl in his way (sadly this includes the fat lady in the painting but that's a detail he can't remember all too well.) As far as relationships go, he's been in a lot but they aren't anything serious. Or at least, Fred never took them seriously, some of his girlfriends would say otherwise. Now that he's a seventh year he's tried to give up petty school drama. He hasn't tried to woo over any girls or attend to many parties. Fred's main goal is to graduate and finally live life out of Hogwarts. It would be his dream to go straight into professional quidditch but in the back of his mind he knows he'll be working at the family shop.
