How the bloody hell did Graham land himself a second date with Lucy Weasley? More importantly, why was he even happy to have a second date with her? Date. What a stupid word. You either went on a date and had a significant other or you ate a date for health. Who's idea was it to make the two the same word? What a complete idiot who ever it was. Certainly one of the definitions of date had to have been in use already. Either way, Graham the type of date where he would probably be holding hands with someone and be extremely cheesy. So far though, Lucy Weasley had been showing him the world of dating to not be an entirely messy cliche as it sounded.
Graham had waited patiently for Lucy in the common room and two walked to the gala together. It was quite lovely and Graham was pleased that his date looked drop dead gorgeous. "I see you know how to show off the legs," he said, taking her hand as they left the common room. He was quite confident about tonight, hell he might even get lucky with Lucy. Of course, it was probably best if he never mentioned Rose. Merlin could only imagine how turned off Lucy would be if she found out that Graham had been with her cousin. It would be the same if Graham found out a girl had been with whatever male was related to him.
Eventually they were at the gala and Graham had a proud smile glued to his face. "C'mon Luce, let's dance," he pulled the ginger towards the dance floor and kept her close to him at all times. "I also might have brought a couple treats if you're up for it," he hinted. He had in fact brought his own bottle to share with Lucy, if she was willing to share of course. If not, well then that was a big problem and Graham had no more room for another bottle without looking weird and suspicious.

Just a few weeks ago, Lucy had been sitting outside Honeydukes wondering if she was going to get a date to the Gala. And now, she was with one Graham Dawlish walking out of the Slytherin common room on the way to the Autumn Gala. She wouldn't say she was unhappy to be with him. Their first date didn't go too badly. She had the feeling he didn't go on too many dates. She could understand why. Some dates were horribly boring. In the beginning of the year, she'd found herself stuck with a Hufflepuff who thought she was interested in him because she nodded along to everything he said. She had to break it off with him in The Three Broomsticks so that he would be embarrassed and mad at her.
“I aim to please.” Lucy said, as he took her hand. “If I feel like it.” She added. Boys liked it when girls paid attention to something they said. Right? Well, Lucy thought it applied to everyone. She certainly liked it when someone took something she mentioned in passing and did something about it. When they entered The Great Hall, Lucy was pleased that Graham looked like he was glad to be here with her. It was annoying if he didn't look like he wanted to be here.
They more or less headed towards the dance floor immediately, with Graham leading the way. “Alrighty.” Lucy said. They were at a Gala and there was a dance floor. Of course they were going to dance. At least she had sensible heels on. Heels that she wouldn't trip and fall over. She had no issues with Graham pulling her close, smiling slightly as he did so. “Treats are always lovely.” Lucy said, lifting her head to look at Graham. She wasn't a short girl, and she was nearly the same height as the male. “They're also a step in the right direction towards giving me the night of my life.”

"Well, right now it's a matter of casually opening the drink without a professor throwing a great big fit." he glanced around the dance floor, trying to decide which area had the least amount of teachers. He smiled and once more pulled Lucy in a more secluded direction. "I aim to please," Graham quoted with a smirk, "But I aim to please most of the time, not just when I feel like it. Y'know good person and all that rubbish." He pulled out the bottle, not raising it high and twisted the cap off. "Ladies first of course," He handed the bottle to Lucy, allowing her the first drink. When it was back in his hands he took his own gulp.
"So tell me miss Weasley, where would you like to venture to first?" He asked while raising one of Lucy's arms to twirl her. "We could just continue to dance and drink, which I'm perfectly fine with," Graham added, snaking an arm around her waist. He had to say, for Lucy being the first closest thing to a relationship or dating, it was...nice. As long as they suddenly did not go official over night he would be okay. The idea of jumping head first into a relationship though? Why would he bother? He was seventeen, about to leave school and start his career in Merlin knew what. Why, after so many years, would he just suddenly change his mind for one person? With, that one person not even being himself. That was just bloody stupid.
"So Luce, anything interesting you'd like to tell me about yourself? Something not lame though, I don't really care if you like reading in an empty common room after curfew. Nah, going with something daring," he said, taking another sip from the bottle they were sharing. "I want to know something about Lucy Weasley that she's kept secret from the rest of the world. Then, one day in the future I can use it against her when she's pissed me off the most. Good plan, yes?" Graham smiled. He didn't think he would actually use anything against her, at least not while he was sober. If he was blackout drunk, well that did not need to be a serious thing to consider right now.
