CONFIDENT: Davin is a confident man. He’s sure of himself and who he is and it’s not a front. He’s a deeply emotional person inside, and cares deeply for his family. He’s a generous and kind person, but he’ll weigh his options first. That’s not to say he won’t help you. He will, but he might take his time about it if he doesn’t know you well enough.
ENCOURAGING: He likes to mentor people. He likes to be the one teaching and feeling accomplished when whoever he has taught succeeded in something. He’s a positive person as well, and mostly looks on the bright side of things.
HARSH: That’s not to say Davin can’t be callous. He tends to keep that side of him under wraps. Besides, he never had reason to subject anyone to his more than unsavory side. He might have garnered a few enemies and exchanged several words and spells with him, but his family have mostly escaped this side of him.
TOLERANT: Davin is open to hearing other opinions, other viewpoints. He might not be the first to point out the flaws in their opinions or what he doesn’t like in their viewpoints but he takes heed of whatever they might be. Davin has always had that recklessness in him, but he’s more mellowed out now.
DEDICATED: He’s a hardworking man. Davin was never one to ask someone else to go his work for him, if he could do it himself. He'd push himself to the limit and do it to the best of his ability.
DEMANDING: Davin is hard on himself and he pushes people. He believes in striving for what you want and if anyone close to him isn’t doing what he thinks they should be doing, he’ll tell them. His parents are being idiots? He'll tell them, though he'd have to word it correctly so they don't punish him. His sister is playing with some bloke's heart? He'll go scare off the guy before anything happens. He has high expectations of himself.

General History:
Davin Finnigan has had a rather unremarkable eighteen years so far. The first few years of his life were spent with his two younger siblings, who weren't that much younger than him. They fought, they argued, they cried. Seamus Finnigan was quite delighted with his children, while Rose Zeller thought they were a handful. Nonetheless, both parents took care of their children in their own way. Davin was his mother's favourite, probably because he was the least naughty of them all.
In the years before he went to Hogwarts, Davin was tutored by his mother. She was a Healer, while his father worked for the Ministry in the Sports Department. His father taught him flying and Quidditch. His mother taught him about spells, charms and potions. Davin was a good mix of them both. He was a polite young boy, one who knew his manners and knew the right thing to say.
When it was time for him to go to Hogwarts, Davin thought that Gryffindor would make his father pleased. At that point in time, he was getting more into Quidditch than whatever his mother wanted to teach him. That didn't go unnoticed by his mother, who only sighed and sent him to Hogwarts. When the Sorting Hat was placed on Davin, it sent him straight to Gryffindor.
In Gryffindor, Davin made friends. He got himself a best friend. Whatever his mother taught him helped in his classes and Davin was soon among the top of his class. That didn't mean he didn't have to work hard to keep his grades up. Simple spells and charms could only get him that far. Davin had excellent time management skills, which came in handy when he got picked to join the Quidditch team in his fourth year. He dated girls, but there was never any one too serious. In fact, up until the first girl he dated, everyone thought he was interested in boys, seeing how he stuck with his best friend the entire day.
Leaving Hogwarts with excellent grades, Davin considered a career in the Ministry. He was torn between an Auror or a Hit-Wizard when the Department of Mysteries offered him a position. Davin was assigned to the Love Chamber after he accepted the job. Now, a year after leaving Hogwarts, Davin is happily living his life.
