There had been no use in trying to get her last class to listen to her, they had all been more a buzz about the upcoming autumn gala. Luckily it had only been a theory lesson so there were no major problems and she had been more than happy to let them chat. Charlize entered the staff lounge and was not surprised to see that it was empty. Most of the Professors would be down at dinner but she had decided not to go down.
Not today. She had been feeling a bit separated from the staff but that was of her own doing. Things between her and Geoff had turned sour. He had stood her up on their trip to Ireland and he had been avoiding her since and rather than trying to confront him she had just left him to it and kept herself away. Chaz hadn’t even checked on Steph and how she was doing.
Plopping herself down on a chair Chaz sighed and realised she probably should make more of an effort. Especially considering that Steph was a good friend to her and was pregnant. Chaz made a mental note to go and see her at some point in the week. Right now she just wanted some peace.
