”Yeah, I think I could do that.” Gracie said to him casually but she was grinning at him. Maybe to anyone else they might look at them and think they were moving too fast, but Grace was happy and she felt that they were working well. She noticed that Tony had glanced around.

Once Tony had asked the question, Grace decided to answer him honestly. ”I don’t mind telling you. During fifth year I started dating a Ravenclaw. We’d been together a while and I thought I was in love with him and thought we were ok to move on to the next step. I fell pregnant in my sixth year and he just dropped me. He knew about her but just, wasn’t interested.” Grace said with a shrug.

Her little girl was her world and it was such a shame that he father had decided not to be a part of her life. Though currently Harmony didn’t ask a lot of questions, Grace knew that at some point she would have to sit down and explain.

[/b] Tony knew it must have been hard, being a single and teen mother. But, if that never happened, they would never have met. They would have never gotten together, and they wouldn't be here now. “Remember, everything happens for a reason.”

“I think Harm is an amazing girl. You seem to be doing a great job with her. Who watches her while you’re at work? Does she go to daycare?” [/b]Tony was just wondering, he wanted to know about her life. He wanted to know anything, and everything he could about this woman.

Grace nodded, ”I know everything happens for a reason.” Grace honestly believed that. Her life had had ups and downs but she was happy at where she was right now. It had been hard at first but over the years things had straightened out.

”Mum looks after her when I’m at work. Mum actually quit her job so she could look after her.’ Grace told him. ”Like I said, my parents help me so much and I could never show them how thankful I am.” Grace glanced up at him and said, ”I’m glad you two get on. I don’t know what I’d have done if you didn’t.”

[/b] Mum would be thrilled, so would Vi. Tony wasn’t worried about their reactions. They would be surprised, of course. But, after the shock wore off, they’d accept Grace and Harmony. The only relative he was worried about was Logan.

“Do a lot of people know about Harm?” [/b] Tony imagined her boss, and maybe a few coworkers and her close friends knew about her. He didn’t think that all the people Grace knew would know about her daughter. “Who are some of the major adults in her life? Grandparents, or aunts or uncles maybe?”[/b]

Grace listened to him and was a little nervous about what he was getting at. Sometimes people were ok when Grace and Harmony met them but other looked at her and boiled it down to, ‘just another teen mother’. She didn’t want that from his family. But if Tony was anything to go by then they wouldn’t be like that. ”I think it’d be okay. Harm loves people, as you can probably tell.” Grace gave a soft laugh. ”That little girl has so much love to give.”

”Not many.” Grace told him honestly. ”My parents and all my family know. But she spend a lot of time with my parents. A few people at work. Astrid is her godmother. But she’s still at Hogwarts so she doesn’t see her all that much.” Grace listed off people who Harmony had real contact with.

[/b] Tony groaned, rubbing his eyes with his hands. Logan, Logan, Logan. What would they do with him? “Trust me, that’s a good thing. You don’t want to meet Logan. Vi, Mum and Dad will love you. Mum will dote over Harm, and Vi will want to be ‘Auntie Vi’. Dad will probably just tell Harmony to call him ‘Grandpa’. Growing up in a family like mine, there are no boundaries. We’re all in each other's business all the time.”

“Astrid? I think I’ve heard the name in passing, maybe Vi is friends with her.”[/b] The name was not ringing any bells, but he let it go. He wondering why someone several years younger was Harmony’s godmother. Grace was an only child, and Tony was getting the impression that Astrid wasn’t related.

But Grace had remembered that Logan was the black sheep of Tony’s family. She had no problem with that. If he wanted to meet her she would happily speak to him and if not then that was also fine. She continued to listen to Tony with a growing smile on her face. ”If that’s true then I look forward to her meeting them.” Gracie knew she couldn’t keep Harm bundled up forever but she didn’t want her daughter facing negativity in her life.Not while she was still young at least.

”Astrid’s in her final year I believe. She was there for me when everyone started to gossip. She’s a person I truly trust and I want Harmony to have people like that in her life.” Grace explained to him. It might have been weird to have someone so young but Grace had no issues with it and neither did Astrid when she had accepted the job.

Did Harm’s dad ever accept responsibly for her?”[/b] One think Tony could say for sure was if he were to ever meet this mystery man, he would kill him. After he was done killing him, Tony would thank him for walking away. If he never walked away, Tony would not be here, falling in love with Grace.

“Well, we have lots of time to talk about this. How about you start a film, and I’ll run and grab some take out? We can have a little date in tonight.” [/b]
