i can live without you but without you i'll be miserable at best After the run in with those girls in the library, Lily made her way back to the tower. Her eyes were red, tear tracks down her checks. Lily didn’t know why she was so upset, girls always made fun of her. They always acted like a jerks. Was it because they was right? Was she really sheltered?
Walking into the common room, Lily spotted James sitting on a couch. Normally, Lily would have gone to her best friends for help. But, James was here. Besides, big brothers were supposed to help little sister. Right? Sitting down next to James, Lily pulled her legs up and wrapped her arms around her knees.
“James? Am I sheltered? Am I a stick in the mud?” |
Lily asked, thinking back to the things they had said to her. Lily wasn’t too worried about James’s reaction. It was Albus she needed to be worried about. Yes, James loved her. However, Albus was always the more protective of the two.[/div] words 163 tagged JAMES notes OUTFIT

James was trying his best not to doze off, though in retrospect, the couch probably wasn't the best place to achieve that goal. The past few days had been really exhausting, with the professors going into their manic homework-giving phase. Charms, theories and stars floated before his eyes, even though he wasn't that much of a study worm. He could only imagine what the book lovers were seeing at this moment.
James almost jumped when Lily burst into the room, teary-faced and clearly upset. He sat up immediately, feeling a bit concerned. Lily had always been a bit delicate, and this was the phase when heartbreaks were common. James had always been there for his little sister, though not as much as Albus, who merely blasted away males within a one meter radius. The thought almost made him smile, but he turned serious again quickly, and lifted his arm to make way for Lily.
"Shh...calm down first, and tell me what happened," he said, stroking her hair gently, like he used to when she was little. He didn't say anything for a few minutes, waiting for her to settle down. Lily wavered between stages of extreme confidence and logic to disruptive emotions. It was best to talk to her when she was calm again. If it's a boy, I'll have to worry more about Albus than the heartbreaker himself, James thought a bit wryly. He was not so sure that he could prevent himself from interfering either. All things said and done, little sisters were little sisters after all.

i can live without you but without you i'll be miserable at best “I was in the library studying, and some girls came in. I think they were Slytherins, maybe sixth or seventh years. They sat down near me, and started talking about me. They were saying things like the only reason I had friends was because I’m James and Albus Potter’s little sister, and because I’m Harry Potter’s daughter.” |
Lily said, trying to control the tears. Normally, things like that rolled right off her back. But, she was a teenager girl. Today, Lily noticed a pimple growing, and she had a headache. She had gotten an answer wrong in class, and lost her house ten points. It was a horrible day in Lily Potter’s world. “Then, they noticed me. They started asking me what it was like, knowing my friends were only friends with me in the hopes to meet The Chosen Boy, The Boy Who Lived. I tried to leave, but they followed me. It wasn’t until I threatened to hex them, that they left me alone.” Being Harry Potter’s daughter wasn’t easy, being Ginny Weasley's daughter wasn’t easy. At times, Lily left out of place. James and Albus both looked like Potter’s. They looked very similar to Harry. Lily, on the other hand, didn’t look like a Potter or a Weasley. Her hair was brown, with a slight red twinge to it. She didn’t fancy Quidditch, and she wasn’t very good at dueling. All the things that seemed to set the Potters and Weasleys apart, were missing from Lily. Sooo, we’ll just say some NPC Slytherin girls were mean to Lily? Yes, good. Xd
