Astrid had woken up that morning feeling more relieved than she’d felt in ages. She’d cut herself off from her friends, James and Charlotte. It was very hard to do since they were all Gryffindors, but she had Rose to keep her company during the awkward times, and even more so Louis. Since the plans to work on the map had been pushed back she had more time to spend with her best friend of how many years? And with the gala coming up that seemed a good thing, because she’d always have a great guy to lean on when she needed a friend. But James and Charlotte had finally made up, which made her life so much easier, and not full of guilt because she didn’t want to choose between the two.
But that didn’t mean that she was going to be going easy on her friends. James wanted this map done, and so did she. She’d been caught up later, since James had showed the map to Rose and Charlotte so long ago in the Forbidden Forest and she’d been with Louis. Still, the idea excited her. And now that the two had made up, she had made a schedule of their working, when quidditch wasn’t going on or prefect duties weren’t being interrupted. She’d called the three of them to meet in the room of requirement after dinner, and she’d even left early to set it up so they could work. She liked to organize things, and since she had spent so long worrying about this not getting done since they weren’t all working together she felt so much better.
She was just putting the finishing touches around the room, which had already made itself to be the perfect place for what they were working on, but it made her feel lazy so she had spent a good ten minutes while waiting for her friends reorganizing and then putting everything back. She was nervous. Today needed to be a good solid meeting for them to work on this, or else she was going to remove herself from the project. Lack of organization and teamwork was not good for her. She heard the doorway come to an opening as one of her friends came in. She turned around and smiled, relieved to see Charlotte coming in. "Hey Char!" she said, hugging the younger girl she missed so much.

-Welcome to the Tea Party-
Charlotte was excited, today was the day they were finally working on the map. She had spent half the night thinking of ways to improve the map, such as adding colors to represent the different houses, showing ghosts, and put trackers on certain people. How much easier would it be if the map had an alarm if a teacher got too close? If they were in the middle of something, it was impractical to have someone constantly watching the map.
Dinner was over, and James had run to the common room to fetch the map, staying he would meet Charlotte there. As she slowly made her way to the Room of Requirements, her thoughts drifted to the gala. James hadn’t asked her yet, but Charlotte assumed they would go together. As soon as Charlotte caught wind of the dance, she sent detailed letters home, stating which shoes, dresses and jewelry to send. After looking at several different dress, Charlotte made her choice. A white mini dress, with a full feather trimmed skirt would surly make the night one to remember. Being as short as she was, heels were a must. Most likey, a fun print pump. As she entered the room, she made a mental note to find out what James was wearing. It would be horrid if they didn’t match.
“Astrid! Hello, how are you?” Charlotte returned the hug, squeezing tightly. She hadn’t seen the older girl in days, even weeks. Hopefully, everything would return to normal and be better than ever. Sitting down on a chair, she whipped her notebook out of her book bag. “I have so many ideas,”

“Oh, Merlin. Did you guys start without me? I will throw a hissy fit like one of those stuck up Slytherin girls if you did. Then I would end up being a hypocrite because I hate those type of girls.” Those were the first words out of Rose's mouth when she stepped into the Room of Requirement. When she saw that only Astrid and Charlotte was there, she beamed. “Good. You didn't start without me. Because James isn't here. And if James isn't here that means he's getting the Map. Very good.” Of course, if James wasn't here, it could also mean he and Charlotte fought again. In which case, Rose might just throw a fit even if she ended up being a hypocrite.
Rose sat down without invitation and got herself comfortable. “You have some ideas, Char?” The current blonde asked, looking at the book in her hands. “I would say tell me now but James might be more than a little upset if we started everything without him. Right. I'm going to stop talking now. I'm just that little bit excited, in case you couldn't tell.” She smiled at the two of them. The Marauders' Map was something of a legend to Rose. She just adored how brilliant those four students had to be to create something like this. If she could pick apart the Map and experiment with it, she would. But this was a one of a kind map and Rose didn't think James would take too kindly to her tearing the Map apart just so she could figure out how it worked.
She was excited about them working together on the Map, but Rose had something else to be pleased about. She had asked Scorpius Malfoy to the Gala. Rose thought she might have needed to ask Graham out, but that Slytherin had asked Lucy out. Well, good luck to that couple. She had been considering her options as to who else she wanted to go when she chanced upon Scorpius. So all in all, it had been a pretty good day for Rose.
