This seemed like the most obvious place to be for her, a place where others could go at the risk of getting caught by professors. The place where kids would go to make out, or have a dandy old time with the beers and other strong liquors that they had managed to bring with them to Hogwarts. But for Delilah Boot, right here was one of the few places she felt she could really escape, the place where she could forget everything that had been going on back at the School. Part of Delilah just wanted to forgive and forget, but then she would get all these reminders that the three people she was supposed to be closest with, had all betrayed her. Had managed to completely stab her in the back some how and it seemed like that was something that wasn't so easy for her to forgive. If she could be the bigger person, that person that Delilah wanted to be, she would do it in a heart beat, but Delilah simply wasn't ready for that.
Even if she was on the mend of choosing to forgive Gavin, it was still Molly and Elijah who she was furious with. Molly had been someone that Delilah had considered a sister, and Elijah had been the first person she'd ever been in love with. Sure, she'd gotten more than one lecture from her parents on how he seemed like the sort of boy that could break a girls heart, but after this Delilah had decided that anyone could break a girls heart. It was as simple as that. So as she lay back in some of the grass and looked up at one of the rare peaks of sky through the tree tops she half closed her eyes for a moment. Trying to sort through her thoughts, and as much as she wanted to forget, because this was her spot to forget, it wasn't really happening. Especially with the announcement of the ball, it was something that Delilah knew she would have dragged Molly to, had gone dress shopping with her, and would have had a crazy dress up party of sorts. But this year, it didn't seem like that was going to happen.
"Ughhh..." She groaned and threw her hands up and then covered her face with her arms as they came back down. This was not what she wanted, not what Delilah needed and all she could do was constantly fight with herself about what she should do, what she wanted to do and what she thought needed to happen. What she would do to be able to throw herself at Gavin and bitch and complain and just get all of this out, it was something that she used to do all the time with him. But now she was uncertain if that sort of thing could happen, but either way she would try and work her way through it. However, it was the sound of approaching feet that had her grabbing for her want beside her and getting ready to stun the other that cast these thoughts from her mind.
