FALLON AZALEE ZABINI
INTRODUCTION
Full name: Fallon Azalee Zabini
Nickname(s): Fal, Fals, Zabi
Age: 23
Gender: female
House: former Slytherin
Occuption: History of Magic Professor at Hogwarts
APPEARANCE
Play By: Sophia Bush
Style: Once upon a time Fallon was fickle. She wore designer clothes, wore sleek clothes that showed off her brilliant body, and sometimes practically wore no clothes at all. But when she got sick, she started wearing more comfy clothes. She went through a period of time where she would refuse to get dressed, change out of her pajamas. After she got better, she started wearing sensible clothes. She was okay to wear jeans and a nice flowy tank top, or simple shorts and a tshirt. Fallon now knows what it feels like to be happy just being who she is.
Distinguishing Marks: Fallon doesn't have any tattoos, though her mother insisted on getting her ears pierced when she was too young to put up a fight. She also has a very distinguished nose.
PERSONALITY
Likes: magnets, bright colors, being alive, her puppy, people, being comfortable, shoes, pretty dresses (though she doesn’t really wear them), pretty smells, privacy, flowers, her family, walking outside, smoothies, home cooked meals, getting letters, encouraging people to fight for their lives, volunteering for young children, learning about history, being a teacher, learning how to live her life, learning from her students, music, books, being wrapped up in someones arms, having hair, being healthy
Dislikes: lots of stairs, people who think they are immortal, thinking about her past, people who make crude jokes, people who don’t take her class seriously, people who are fickle, people who stereotype Slytherins, making big decisions, Cobi making a mess, being alone, crying, rainy days, staying cooped up, bed head, forgetting to live, having to take medications, getting a hair cut, doctors offices, the smell of antiseptic, uncertainty, alcohol, slackers, saying goodbye, stupid balloons, not looking like a skeleton
Boggart: her cancer returning
Patronus: It used to be a fox, meaning cunning. After her battle with cancer it turned into an elk, for strength and freedom
Strengths: Lots of knowledge about history, especially magical history, but also muggle history
Weaknesses: a lot of physical activity all at once is not something she’s really able to do, she is a total health nut, she’s very fearful of her cancer returning
Personality: Fallon's personality has done a complete change in her twenty three years. When she was a younger child, before she had siblings and even after, she was a princess. She was daddy's princess. She was spoiled, got whatever she wanted, did whatever she wanted. There were no rules broken, because there were no rules to break. She knew that she could bat her little eyelashes and everything would be at her beck and call. She had money, she had power. Then she got siblings. She was still the queen.
When Fal entered Hogwarts she was still high and mighty. As a first year she was always the boss. She could even get some older kids to do what she wanted. She peaked early, and the guys didn't mind that. They'd do whatever she asked. Her power was a little scary, if you really think about it. But she wasn't a bad kid. No, if you think about it, she was pretty good. She was just in charge. She told people what to wear, when to wear it, and who to be. Because she wanted to have a kingdom. She was so fickle. Like wearing the wrong shade of eyeshadow really mattered in the end.
Fallon's personality changed when she got cancer. She went into depression. She didn't want to fight, she didn't want to live. She didn't deserve to live. This was her punishment for beign spoiled, it was her punishment for being a bitch. She knew it. Why should she fight to be someone she was so ashamed of? She vowed to be different, to be a better person, if she ever got better. And somehow, she did.
She spent all of her time in books. She wanted to know everything, she wanted to do something with her life. By luck there was an opening on the Hogwarts staff. The History of Magic position was available, and she jumped at it. Not literally, because that was much too much physical activity than she could handle, but metaphorically. She'd loved learning about history when she was in Hogwarts, which she'd kept from the world, except for her teacher. She had finally seen that her world was going to be better. She was no longer depressed. She was content. She's working on being truly happy again, but she's taking her life one day at a time. She's determined.

General History: They history of Fallon starts with her parents, Pansy Parkinson and Blaise Zabini. Blaise was the son of a brilliantly famous mother, who had been widowed seven times by the time he was sixteen. Blaise was always a reserved fellow. He didn't like to make friends with anyone really, Slytherins included. He could mildly stand Draco Malfoy and Pansy, enough to at least sit with them every once in a while, but he could never really stand her cutesy fawning over him. The entire world seemed to think that Draco and Pansy were going to end up together, including Blaise, who really didn't care in the slightest. He had a pile of money, and was looking for a pure blooded Slytherin to share it with. He couldn't stand muggles, or muggleborns/blood traitors.
The fact that Pansy and Blaise got together is still a mystery, even to them. They just don't seem to belong to each other. Most people say Pansy's only in it for the money, which had come from all of Blaise's step fathers, and left to Blaise when his mother passed, however she did not pass until well after Pansy and Blaise were married. They say Pansy knew she would eventually pass and leave the money. They all said Blaise was only in it after Pansy lost her little girl features. She became his arm candy, being a pureblood, and a very good looking individual. But in truth? They hadn't had anywhere to go when they left the war. Neither of them wanted to fight. They didn't want to go and fight, which Pansy had made especially clear when she tried to give Harry away, and had nearly the entire school turn their backs on her. She was the first one out of the castle, followed closely by Blaise. In the end, however, neither of the two had anywhere particularly to go. Pansy was good at putting up a front of having money, but her family was very working class in the wizarding world. And there was no way she'd ever let the dark natured boy know that.
Blaise had a wonderfully huge home, with everything he ever could have wanted. And it had been vacant that night, since his mother had been out and about. He would have loved to have just ditched Pansy and gone home, gone to normalcy. But she had just looked so pathetic, that being his direct quote, she shrugging when he said it. He couldn't just leave her, which was strange for him, because he never had a problem with that with anyone. There was no place truly safe in the wizarding world, so Pansy had taken him to the muggle world. That didn't go over so well with him, and he later insisted on going back to his house. The story can be guessed from there, two seventeen year olds alone in a huge house. Do the math.
Pansy and Blaise were never exclusive, at least not for the first few years. They dated on and off after that night, but never called the other themselves boyfriend and girlfriend. Not even two years later, when Pansy found out she was pregnant. She didn't want Blaise to “want" her just because she was carrying his child. On February 16th, 2000 Pansy Parkinson gave birth to a very healthy baby girl, named Fallon Azalee Zabini. She was named Fallon because it meant leader, and the couple knew that she was destined to be a leader. Which proved true later in the girl';s life, but not right away. Pansy and Blaise did not decide to get married until Pansy ended up pregnant again five years later, with Fallon's younger brother.
For the first five years of her life, Fallon was spoiled. She was the happiest child alive. Her grandmother didn't care that she was born out of wedlock. Fallon did not take on her father's dark skin, but instead her mother's creamy white skin. She would soon grow to look like her beautiful grandmother, but with lighter colored skin. For once in his life, Blaise was not antisocial. He was not thrilled to be becoming a father, even offered up abortion. But in the end, Pansy wouldn't allow it. She wanted her baby, and fought for her. The moment Blaise layed eyes on Fallon, he couldn't believe he'd even suggested getting rid of her. He vowed he'd never let anything harm his little girl.
At age five, Fallon found out she'd no longer be the only one to be getting her family's attention. And she was not happy about it. She asked her mother why she had to have a sibling, and asked if they had to keep him. When she was told yes, she threw a tantrum and tried to run away. However, she was not allowed to cross the street, and therefore didn't get very far. This displeased her more, and her father finally got her to calm down by promising that things would not change, and also promising to buy her whatever her heart desired, which back then consisted of something fickle she can't recall to the day. She was the flower girl in her parents wedding about a month after Pansy found out she was pregnant again, and wore a gorgeous pink dress, and refused to do anything that could get it dirty, though she did dance with her father.
Two years later Pansy was pregnant again, this time with another girl. Fallon took tihs one a whole lot better, but she still threw a fit or two, because she didn't think she'd be daddy's little princess anymore. That was false, because somehow Blaise kept them equal, yet so different, that neither of them could say that they were more favoured, though they argued about it a lot. Since Fallon was seven years older than her younger sister she didn't have to deal with her much, except to try and steal her attention when she was a baby.
Fallon entered Hogwarts with no hitch. She is a pure blooded witch after all. She was sorted into Slytherin, the house of her parents. Her two siblings were also sorted into Slytherin, but that was no surprise. Fallon ruled the school once upon a time. She was made prefect in her fifth year like her mother, and was a mystery like her father. She was the queen bee, she made everyone jealous and she set the trends. She held her head so high back then. She wore all the designer clothes her parents bought for her, and back stabbed like you'd never believe.
In her seventh year, things got interesting. She'd started dating a pureblooded wizard, which she knew would make her parents proud, but he was twenty six, nearly ten years her senior. She thought it was love. He bought her booze, which her parents never allowed, no matter how much she sucked up or threw tantrums, which was often. He kissed her like no one her age had ever been able to do. After she graduated she moved in with him, much to her friends warnings and her parents objections. But she didn't care. Her parents fooled around not in love for seven years before they finally got married. Why couldn't she be with someone she actually loved? But he was a smoker, which nearly took Fallon's life.
She'd only spent a few months living with him, but it took it's toll. She started to get strange symptoms. Dyspnea (shortness of breath) came first. She hadn’t thought much of it, just thought she was getting out of shape. So she started working out a little more, but it didn’t help. But she shrugged it off. Eventually she started wheezing, and coughing more and more. She figured it was just the flu, she’d get over it. Her voice started going later, and she started to have difficulty swallowing. She hadn’t been eating, and the pain in her chest grew without her knowing. By the time she'd started coughing up blood, she'd almost waited too long. She was rushed to St.Mungo's where she was diagnosed with Lung Cancer.
Fallon's world came crashing down. The chances of survival were slim, since she'd waited so long to actually go to the hospital. Her mother stayed by her bed every night weeping. Her father almost killed the man she'd been living with. He ran away shortly after the meeting with her father. He hasn't really been seen since, hiding out, not wanting to face what he'd done. Fallon had spent four years battling her cancer. Things got bad, her days seemed numbered. She'd gone through chemotherapy and other forms of treatment, but none of it seemed to work. Fallon's hair started to fall out, which was saddest for her. She'd spent years growing it out, getting it long and healthy. It took a week to lose most of it. Her sister had grown hers out, and ended up getting it cut to make her a wig. Fallon had never felt so loved by her sister then in that moment.
It's still a miracle today that Fallon is alive. She shouldn't be, but she is. She battled cancer, so deep into it, and won. Though her chances of a relapse are very high. She lives in fear every day that it'll come back, and she won't have the strength to fight it anymore. She got Cobi to have someone to look out for her, and keep her company. He has never left her side. After getting out of the hospital, Fallon vowed to do something useful with her life, and not be so self centered and greedy. She got hired at Hogwarts as the History of Magic professor, a class she'd secretly loved when she was in Hogwarts, and she always goes to the hospital to help young kids fighting cancer feel better. Cobi is always with her, whether at the hospital or in her classroom. She has vowed to live like she could die tomorrow, because for all she knows, she could.
