FEAR IS THE HEART OF LOVE Though he wasn’t necessarily in a long-distance relationship, it certainly felt like one. Dylan was boxed up in Hogsmeade all week long and he didn’t get to see her very often. It was hard for her to sneak out for anything over twelve hours; he wouldn’t even let Zac stay away from the castle longer than that. It wasn’t worth the possible consequences for them, and he definitely didn’t want to draw any attention to himself, cooped up in the upper apartments of the Hogs Head, hidden away safely. He was busy as well, and sometimes their schedules didn’t line up, which was extremely aggravating. But it wasn’t really either of their faults, and neither of them were very clingy people. He didn’t need her constant attention, and she didn’t need his. He did get jealous very easily though, and often worried about her being at Hogwarts without him there. Tonight, he finished his book-keeping early. He rarely slept, so he decided to fly up to Gryffindor Tower and surprise her, as he did once in a while. It was late though, and he suspected that she would be sleeping. Thankfully, tomorrow was a Saturday, so she didn’t have anything in particular she would need to wake up for (he knew her schedule like the back of his hand). Walking from Hogsmeade to Hogwarts with broom in hand, so as not to set off any sky sensors indicating his intrusion, once he was in the grounds, he took off into the air, shooting in the direction of the dark Gryffindor Tower. It must have been about three in the morning. Everyone inside the sixth year girls’ dorm was asleep. Dylan’s bed was strategically placed next to the window, which had been left slightly ajar to allow some cool, fall air to circulate about the room. He flew inside, staying silent (stealth was one of his strengths), and stepped off his broom, resting it against Dylan’s side-table. He quietly pulled off his shirt and slid off his sandals, piling them just under the foot of her bed. Pulling back the drapery, he climbed inside, slipping under the sheets behind her, and wrapped a protective arm around her waist, nuzzling his face to the nape of her neck. How odd, that beside her he instantly and peacefully fell asleep. TAGS: Dylan WORDS: 387 WEARING: Click!NOTES: Want to start your post as her waking up? you're the one that i should never take, but i can't sleep until i devour you - - - - - Everyday Dylan thought about just dropping out of Hogwarts. She already had a career in mind that seemed to skip all the interviews and going over credentials. Not to mention how curfew made her feel like a little girl with a babysitter. She was about to be seventeen, as far she was concerned she was legal enough. Where would be the problem in living with her boyfriend and helping out his business? Sure, she did not need to see him every single second, but at least living in the same building would give her the higher chance of being able to see him. They were lucky as it was to have the few moments available. Just once she wished Mal would let her stay longer than a few hours, but oh no she might get in trouble and bring a whole turn of events! Still besides all that, she really loved Mal. It's not like he ever did anything to hurt her after all. She did hate school though. Like most teenagers, she saw it as long, tiresome, and going in one ear and out the other. When Friday rolled around that was when every one seemed more cheery. For Dylan, it met spending a few hours past curfew with a few other people. Possibly selling whatever Malakai had given her to sell or sleeping the weekend away and not even looking at her homework until Sunday night. This Friday, she spent a good hour at some party held in the Greenhouses, which was a decent spot for business. She had Saturday night as well and figured not to rush things all to quickly. Eventually she reached her bed and was the first one in her dorm to pass out around eleven at night. When she awoke Saturday, she was snug tight in familiar arms. For awhile she laid there with her eyes close, enjoying the moment and trying to hear any of her roommates. Eventually though, she drew up one of Malakai's hands and kissed his knuckles. She loved those random Saturday mornings when he had managed to sneak in. He some how figured out the balance of doing it often enough to where it did not annoy her from the frequency but still managed to surprise her. "I might need to be careful about having my bed next to an open window, who knows what kind of person will get in," she whispered into his ear, and kissed his cheek. Attempting to wake him up. notes: lovelovelove these two outfit: heretag: malakai montague words: 417 TEMPLATE BY VIKA OF CAUTION.

FEAR IS THE HEART OF LOVE Still in a slightly dreamlike state, Mal felt one of his arms moving, but by himself. Small, warm hands were holding it, and soon, soft lips were kissing at the knuckles on his corresponding hand. His face was still buried in Dylan’s neck, right against some of her dark hair, and he smiled into it happily, eyes still shut. It had been at least a week since he’d last seen her, which was far too long for his tastes. To say that he was overprotective was definitely an understatement, but their current predicament of her still being in school and his running a region-wide drug cartel kept him from seeing her as often as he liked. There had been many an evening where he had to convince himself not to go to the school. He didn’t like any of the Gryffindor boys that he knew must have eyes for her. “Riff raff, surely,” he mumbled through a smile, turning her about so that she was facing him. He opened one eye into a squint, the other one still shut tightly from sleepiness. “Morning.” He leaned forward a little and kissed her nose, subsequently giving her a loving, long kiss on the lips. After that, he rolled over onto his back, stretching his arms over his head much like an animal who’d just woken from a long hibernation. But soon enough his arm had looped under her head and back around her shoulders again. Thankfully, this wasn’t a Quidditch Saturday, else he would have had to be up and about two hours ago. Quidditch matches were some of the biggest selling days of the school year for him, Zac, and Dylan. Who didn’t like to be tripping or high when people were whizzing around on broomsticks? Plus, the hubbub of the matches were just an excellent environment for a transaction. “Anything interesting happen to you this week?” he asked casually, turning again so that his other arm wrapped around her in a horizontal hug, kissing the top of her forehead as she was going to answer. He truly hated being away from her for so long. It was nice that they had these mornings and any days that she came into Hogsmeade, but it would never be enough. Two more years of this seemed like ages. TAGS: Dylan WORDS: 385 WEARING: Click!NOTES: The cuteness. SO I NEVER WENT BACK template by eliza @ shadowplay

you're the one that i should never take, but i can't sleep until i devour you - - - - - Dylan snuggled close to Mal once she was facing him. "Morning yourself," she smiled after his kisses. Once he was on his back, the girl moved so that there was absolutely no space between them. "Although, closing that window might prevent mornings like these and that's just an absolute nightmare," Dylan said, resting her head on Malakai's chest. She did love mornings like this one, it was a beautiful surprise and the one nice thing about living in Hogwarts. She looked forward to packing up her bags, leaving the school, and getting away from her family. All she needed and wanted was the Montague boys. She had no other friends, and everyone that spoke to her was simply a client. Which is what she most definitely preferred. "Not entirely, just new materials to study but I'm sure you already went through that process," she rolled her eyes. Dylan reached up and stroked Malakai's cheek with her thumb while staring up at him. "How about on your end?" she asked. For specific reasons she knew well enough to keep something such as drug dealing pretty vague. "Found any new interns?" she whispered. Even though Zac and Dylan both had their sixth year to finish and the next year, that still was not a lot of time. If Malakai wanted to keep a steady supply he would have to find a new student. Although that would be difficult, it would be even more difficult for either Zac or Dylan to come in and out of the castle once they left. Dylan let out a sigh and nuzzled her head against Mal. "I'm thinking of just dropping out after this year," she stated, closing her eyes. How much she craved the freedom no curfews and no need to sneak around every where. "But, I don't know," Dylan continued. She also did not want to drop an entire load of drugs in Zac's hands in the NEWTs year. That would just be a bitch move and he was really the only thing close to a friend that Dylan had. Well, besides Malakai, but Zac was Dylan's girlfriend through and through. notes: lovelovelove these two outfit: heretag: malakai montague words: 356 TEMPLATE BY VIKA OF CAUTION.
