This was unacceptable, on so many levels. This was what Tabitha had decided when she had come home in a panic when she had received a phone call from the usual nanny that watched Teagan, and had said that the young girl had managed to disappear. How the hell the nanny had managed to loose her daughter, Tabitha hadn't managed to get out of the sobbing mess when Tabitha had been able to leave work and appeared back at the house. She probably would have yelled more at the middle aged woman if it wasn't for the fact that her mind wanted to do nothing more than track down Teagan and clutch the young girl in her arms once more. In fact, there was only one more thing running through her mind that managed to make its way there besides Teagan, and that was Tristan.
She needed to get to Tristan, she had to call him out in some manner and thankfully for her with enough threats and bitching she had managed to get one of the higher ups who in turn probably told Tristan that some crazy bitch claiming to be the mother of his kid. Either way Tabitha had told him of the situation, that she needed Tristan to be there, she knew that it'd only been a month ago that Tristan had even known of Teagan's life. That he was a father, but something just told Tabitha that he would be able to find her, that they would be able to find their daughter together rather than apart. And on top of that, though Tabitha was less willing to really openly admit it, she needed Tristan there for herself as well. She needed someone who she could put her absolute faith in, and the only person Tabitha had been able to do with with over the years was Tristan.
Right now Tabitha was going through Teagan's room, signs for where the young girl could have gone, if she had run away, or if she had been taken. Why Teagan would even think of slipping out while the nanny was busy cooking dinner was never something that the six year old had done before, and so the thought that she could just go a head and do something like this freaked Tabitha out even more than she currently was. If that was even possible; she roughly ran a hand through her hair and tried to bite back those panic tears that she'd been holding back since she'd come home. And if it wasn't for the fact that she heard knocking at the front door of the apartment they probably would have come flowing out and she wouldn't have been able to contain them, but instead she bolted from her spot on the floor and to the front door. With a quick peek through the peek hole of the door she unlocked and opened the door, looking to the male standing there.
"Tristan," She murmured.

Tristan had been back to work for all of two and a half weeks. He'd taken a few off work after finding out about Teagan, and had tried to get things set up and figured out between the two. Which hadn't necessarily gone well, but he hadn't expected it to. He was currently working on getting his own flat in London, so that he would have a reason to come home more often and Teagan would have a place to stay. It wasn't working out very well though, because he did have to get back to work, and didn't have time to take tours of flats. But since his team didn't work long on the weekends he planned on going back again soon to look.
He'd been back to work in his little corridor/tomb area, the one that had given him the burns. He should have hated that place and never wanted to go back, but he didn't. His burns were healed, no scars to speak of. But he didn't care about that. He was actually thankful he'd gotten injured. Because now Tabitha was back in his life, and even more so he had a wonderfully beautiful daughter, and he couldn't be happier. On that note. He wasn't sure about doing this job anymore, because he wanted to be closer to his family, since he now had one.
He was getting closer to cracking it, probably just a few more mutterings of spells and he'd have it. Or at least he would have if his higher up, Mr. Numelle, came to find him, calling him into his office, which was really just a magical tent, but nonetheless, he'd been called in to speak with him. "Some woman called for you. Nearly screamed my ear off. She said there was an emergency situation. Your daughter seems to have gone missing this afternoon. I didn't know you had a daughter, Mr. Griepentrog," the man said, not unkindly. "I didn't know I did either, until about a month ago that is," he said, panic rising. "Sir, I really--" he started, but he was cut off. "You are excused for now, but I am going to need you back if you want to be the one to finish that assignment, which I know you do. It's been put off for almost a month. But go find her."
Tristan didn't even bother to give a response. He practically flew out of the tent and before anyone could even ask him what was the matter he'd disapparated, coming to a halt right outside of Tabitha's house. He didn't care if muggles had seen him either, and he took the steps two at a time. He almost didn't bother to knock, thought about bursting into the house, but thought better of it, and knocked loud and hard on the door. Tabitha opened the door, and seemed relieved as she said his name. "Any luck? I got here as soon as I could," he swept past her, into the living room. He had no idea how he was supposed to help find his daughter, but he wasn't leaving until they did.

Had Tabitha known that her daughter would just up and disappear she probably would have never left, she would have locked down the windows and doors and closed the shades and never let her daughter out of her sight. Yes, it would be obsessive, yes it would be way too over protective but at least Teagan would still be sitting around in the living room with her coloring book out and the little blue bear sitting next to her. "Fuck!" hissed Tabitha as she clenched her fists once more, no, no, it wasn't like Teagan was dead. Tabitha would know if something had happened to her daughter, without a doubt, Tabitha was her mother and she would always know when her child would need her. But knowing that was hardly something that was easing her worries at the time, it didn't seem like anything would at that moment.
That was, until that knock came and there stood Tristan, that alone was enough to help ease her of her worries slightly. Because she thought, even if it had only been a short amount of time, Tristan would still be able to find Teagan. Maybe that was foolish and wasn't something that she should believe in so heavily, but she couldn't help it. She always believed that the father of any child would be able to find their own, without a doubt and she didn't ever think that Tristan would give up just because it was hard. "I went and looked for her at the park and down the streets we normally talk walks on...But I haven't been able to find her." Tabitha murmured biting the bottom of her lip once more as she tried to control any other emotion that had been trying to creep out of her at the time. She would not allow herself to have any sort of break down before she found Teagan, and that was final.
"I mean she might have gone towards the library...which is a few blocks away. I don't know how long the nanny waited to call me, she said she tried to find her first." Which Tabitha thought was one of the stupidest things that she had ever heard when it came to the nanny. Never before had she had problems with her, she'd always had good experiences with the other, who had been watching Tabitha since she was about three or four years old. So the thought that this nanny could loose her just like that this. "She didn't even take the bear with her..." Tabitha murmured as she glanced back towards Teagan's favored toy/stuffed animal.

Tristan had never been put in this kind of situation before. He'd never had younger siblings that ran away, or got lost. His elder brother, Justin, was always a mama's boy, he never thought about leaving and neither had Tristan, though he wasn't as attached to his parents as Justin. Tristan didn't even want to think about what Ella Griepentrog was going to say about having a daughter, out of wedlock, and then a month later finding out she'd run away. No, he couldn't think about, he just had to help find her, in some way.
He thought about it. Where does a six year old go, if not along places she knew? She wasn't at the park, or along roads where they went on walks? Tristan wasn't as familiar with London as he should be, so he wasn't sure what else was around here. Where would he have gone when he was six? A friends house? "Does she have any friends around here? Anyone she is particularly close to?" he asked, starting to walk through the house. He hadn't seen it much when he'd been here to discuss what to do about Teagan, mostly just sat in the kitchen. Teagan had wanted him to see her room, but he didn't. How stupid.
Tristan stopped in Teagan's open doorway. The only things that seemed wrong with it were what Tabitha had done with it, searching for her daughter. There wasn't any sign that Teagan had even been in here. "Where is this nanny? She's fired," he said, walking out and looking at Tabitha. He wasn't letting this woman anywhere near his child anymore. "If she needs a babysitter she can go to her grandparents," he said, referring to his parents, not Tabitha's since hers lived in the states. "Should we try the library?" he asked, wondering if she'd go that far without telling anyone. She didn't take the bear? He was surprised. Tristan grabbed Tabitha's hand. "We're going to find her, I promise."

She had decided that having Tristan here was a good thing, namely because her head was spinning, and while it may not show on the outside of Tabitha on the inside she was in full panic mode. There was no way to back out of such a thing when a mother was missing a child, Tabitha had heard way too many stories about little girls going missing and not reappearing until the body was found. And in those cases it always ended in sorrow, Tabitha didn't even want to think about what would happen to her if she ever lost Teagan. It was one of those things that she scarcely thought about, and whenever she did think about it, it was only on those nights when she was truly by herself and had one too many drinks of wine. But right here and now, it was one of those things that was becoming all too real for her, and was something that Tabitha wanted to end as soon as she possibly could.
However, her mind was brought around again when she heard Tristan speaking and she slowly nodded in agreement. As hard as it would be for Tabitha to sack someone who had been with the two for so long, it probably would be for the best. Even if she didn't completely blame the nanny, she knew very well that Teagan could be as sneaky as a mouse whenever the little girl felt like doing so. "Yeah, she was a family friend." Tabitha answered and pushed some of the hair from her face, looking around the what felt like empty room and then back to Tristan. "I'm fine with getting someone else trust worthy to watch her," Though she was saying this more so to herself as a confirmation that she was saying it to Tristan. Tabitha would need to probably say that a couple more times to herself before it really clicked with her that she would be sacking Elisabeth.
Chewing the bottom of her lip for a moment as she tried to think of the popular places the younger girl often asked to go, or where the two would spend their free time. "The library would be a good place to start, we can check in with Stephen and Anya, there two other kids her age that she spends a fair amount of time with," Tabitha concluded and looked back to Tristan once more. "They'll be on the way and its on one of the paths we normally take, we live close enough to places around here that a relatively kid friendly." Such as the playground a couple blocks away and then the Library of course, where they could listen to people go on about different stories or read stories together. Although again her mind was pulled from the past as she felt her hand grabbed and Tabitha's eyes snapped back and offered a slight smile to Tristan, "Yeah...Thanks, I'm sure we will," she almost doubted Tristan would stop until they actually had the little girl back in his arms at least.
