Cheers to the fricken' weekend, I drink to that, yeah yeah//Oh let the jameson sink in//I drink to that, yeah yeah Tony winced as he cracked his neck and back. As he prepared to leave the office, he took his wizarding robes off, revealing black jeans and a white and grey stripped shirt underneath. Tong grabbed his black sweatshirt as he thought about his day. It had started off as any other day, he and his idiotic partner went out to check a report that was filed the night before. It turned out to be the meeting place of dark wizards. Jason, Tony’s partner, froze up and left Tony to deal with 7 dark wizards by himself. By the time Jason unfroze, Tony was in bad shape. Luckily. Jason called for backup, and Tony got to Saint Mungo’s in time. After Tony was patched up, he headed back to the office to fill out paper work, and to request a new partner. He was sore, bruised and all together a little beat up. I just hope Mum doesn’t want to meat for lunch before I’m totally healed, Tony thought to himself as he finished packing up. His mum always worried, despite the fact that Tony’s father had been an auror, and he was fine.
Tony started to walk towards the lift so he could go home, but on his way he spotted an old friend, Mitch. Tony and Mitchell had been in the same year at Hogwarts, and the same house. They were still close friends and had worked together on a few occasions. “Mitch!” |
Tony quickened his pace to catch up to his friend. “What are you up tonight? Would you fancy grabbing a pint with me?” [/div]

TEMPLATE BY KHRISTIAN OF CAUTION 2.0, LYRICS BY MODEST MOUSE

S O O N T H E W A T E R W I L L C O M E Work was work. That was what Mitch always said when describing his day. Usually he would go straight to the Leaky after work, mostly because he was a terrible cook and no one else lived in his home. It might have been a waste of money, but frankly, all Mitch cared about was having enough money to pay the bills and give his dogs food. At this point in the day, Bruce would probably be sleeping in his crate while Dunja patrolled the backyard for winged intruders and Gus waited by the front door. That's how the man assumed his dogs spent their days. All he wanted to do was get a few drinks at the Leaky and then head home, maybe call up Al, and cuddle with his puppies. Add in some drinks and that would be the man's heaven. Actually, it would probably be anyone's heaven. He had left his desk only a few minutes early than he should have. That was perfectly fine though. There was a pretty receptionist he enjoyed talking to lately. "Yeah, the youngest is two months," he said, showing his pearly whites. The girl giggled as she looked at the pictures in Mitch's wallet. He was not sure what it was about furry animals that girls gawked over, but he was not going to question it any time soon. He could use a date or two to get his mind off his old friend for a few moments. Even if it was still extraordinary to be seeing her after seven years. Still, he was not let himself start thinking it was some form of fate that brought her back. Hell, she could have opened a daycare in America, but England was her home. That was enough. The man eventually said his goodbye to the receptionist and continued on his way to the fireplaces. That was when Tony Shacklebolt tagged him down and invited him to get a pint. "Fancy one? Try two or three," he patted his friend's shoulder, turning in the direction of one of the fireplaces. He dragged Tony through with him, ending up in the back room of the Leaky. "Ah," Mitch brushed some ash out of his hair. "You'd think the Longbottoms would work on cleaning this more often," he said, walking through. He did love the Leaky though, it seemed like the only thing that ever changed was the staff, and some days that seemed like the nicest thing in the world. He walked through the door and into the main area of the Leaky. "So mate, how's that new scar comin' along?" he asked his friend, taking a seat at a table in the center of the pub. words: 451 outfit: click!tag: tony notes: ba-bam. Tony said as he sat down at the table. He took off his black sweatshirt and pulled his sleeve up to show off the healing wound. It was a bright pink color, running from the inside of his elbow to his shoulder. “Did I tell you that I got a dog? Jonathan moved to America and he asked if I knew anyone would could adopt his dog. I thought about it, and decided to take him. His name is Nox, he’s a black lab, six years old,” Tony said smiling. “We should have a doggy play date soon. Someone told me that cute dogs are a good way to get female attention.” Tony thought back to his Hogwarts days. Tony, Mitch and Prof had been best friends, and dorm mates. When Teddy Lupin came to Hogwarts a year later, he became a member of their little group. When they graduated from Hogwarts, Tony and Mitch went to work as Aurors. Prof started teaching, and Teddy joined him later. “We should try to get Prof and Teddy to join us sometime. I’m sure staff can leave Hogwarts whenever they want. I feel like I haven’t seen them in forever. Vi wants me to come visit her over a Hogsmeade weekend, and by visit, I think she means buy her stuff. I was going to send Teddy a letter, asking if he wanted to meet up for dinner or something. You should come with!” Tony stopped talking as a waitress walked up to the small table, ready to take orders.[/div]

TEMPLATE BY KHRISTIAN OF CAUTION 2.0, LYRICS BY MODEST MOUSE
