Xander was the first to show up to the classroom, he was the one that initiated the party after all. The old classroom was musty, but would make a good party scene. The desks were covered with cobwebs and some of the chairs were completely broken, but Xander had moved them to the side of the room. With a flick of his wand the old wizard radio lit up and began to play soft wizard rock. He didn’t care too much for muggle music, but he didn’t dislike it either. He knew other wizards that absolutely hated muggle music but the difference he could notice was the lyrics.
Sitting on the old professor’s desk, Xander pulled a bag from his jacket. He placed the wizard-brand alcohol next to him and lit up a splif. He lied back on the table, looking at the ceiling. He hoped Jesse hadn’t seen the note he had passed around but the word definitely would have spread to the other crowds and houses. Hopefully ‘the word’ had left Xander’s name out of it. If Jesse had heard about any party he might assume that Xander was part of it, given his previous history. The most Xander could do was hope for the best, with any luck tonight would be fun.
He could feel his high increasing as he took another hit and he let the smoke carry him to his desired state. It was a pain to acquire what he needed and to smuggle it into Hogwarts. Luckily, since the war had ended, the security was a lot lighter than it had been before. He knew some people in Hogsmeade that could help him out but the visits had yet to begin. Remaining on the desk, Xander waited for the crowd to find its way to the first official party of the school year.

Rose liked to think that she wasn't a partier. She didn't get hungover every single day or needed a party to make her life complete. But there were times when letting loose was needed. And Xander's note came at the right time for her. Rose studied because she knew it would help her after Hogwarts. Too much studying could drive her crazy. Not to mention, this was her last year at Hogwarts. If she wasn't going to parties now, who knew when she had the time to do so? Working life could be pleasant if she was in a career she loved, but working for money usually meant that she had to put in the effort. So she predicted her social life would disappear.
At least, that was the reasoning Rose gave to herself as she made her way to the venue of the party. Since it was started by a bloke, Rose didn't think there was going to be major decorations and general prettiness to it. Then again, if everyone went to a party with the intention of getting drunk, prettiness would not be an issue. The brunette had managed to dig out several bottles of Firewhiskey and Butterbeer. Personally, she liked a mix of those two. She found that she didn't get too tipsy and could focus on the next day if the party was on a weekday.
Reaching the classroom where Xander said the party would be, Rose popped her head inside to check out who was there. Apparently she was the first one. Besides Xander, that is. Either that or everyone decided to go to the bathroom when she arrived. “Hey, Xan.” Rose greeted the male, wondering if he was already too high to notice his surroundings. Hopefully not. Rose didn't particularly fancy being the host of a party. As expected, the classroom wasn't decorated. But, there was a radio. “I suppose that makes up for it.” She muttered out loud, taking out several tiny bottles from her jacket and returning them to their normal size. She conjured up some glasses and poured herself a mixture of drinks, before moving towards Xander. “So how many hot blokes are coming to this party?” She asked, grinning at him impishly.

"Well, talk about a party!" Graham stated as he walked into the almost empty room. Rose Weasley and Xander Creevey sat towards the front of the classroom. His eyes went immediately to the choice of drinks. He sauntered over to them, picked up each one at a time and then raised his eyebrows at the two Gryffindors. "Chin up mates, it's only the beginning of the night," he ruffled Xander's hair in a condescending manner and winked at Rose. "Besides, if any other girls walk by and see Rose talking to me while you sit in that desk Creevey, they'll certainly feel sorry and want to make sure you have some form of company," Graham shrugged, and took himself a spliff.
The young man had been looking forward to the first party of the year. If this turned out to be a dud, he might actually have to find someway to take Rose back with him. That way there was an even stance of let downs and build ups for the night. Of course, who in their right mind would ever say no to Graham's charming personality? "So, Rose, how has your school life been going so far," he took a seat on the professor's desk and rested an elbow on his knees, with an ever so intrigued expression to top it off.
He rested his spliff in the corner of his mouth, and searched for which drink to start off with. "Blimey, not quite the selection I was hoping for," he said between his lips, "not to worry, though my Pa sent me with a few items to start the year off with." He pulled out a few bottles of alcohol from his knapsack, the only strong ones his father wouldn't mind parting with. "Here's to a wonderful, final year," Graham handed one of the four bottles to Rose, and raised his own for a toast.

Xander nodded to Rose as she entered the room, she seemed slightly disappointed at the arrangement but Xander didn’t know what she had expected, streamers and balloons? He never recalled a time where he cared about the decorations at a party but at least he had gotten the radio playing. In his third year Xander had discovered an old cabinet filled with confiscated items and the radio had been one of them. There were other items but none other of enough interest to take.
”Well I’m here, aren’t I?” Xander said playfully, in response to Rose’s question. The Weasly’s were an interesting family, although there seemed to be millions of them everywhere in the school. Roxanne, one of his good friends, was of the Weaslys. Most of them seemed to be enjoyable, however. Rose was the Captain of the Gryffindor Quidditch team, and a good one at that. A small frown reached Xander’s face when Graham entered the room.
Xander rolled his eyes, he could barely stand Graham. His obnoxiousness and charisma matched Xander’s and there wasn’t enough space for both of their egos in one room. Graham was year older, giving him an unfair advantage. ”I’m sure,” Xander said sarcastically. Graham moved his way over to Rose, he could tell who Graham was hoping to get with tonight. For some reason it really irritated him, he didn’t like Rose in the romantic manner but he didn’t want Graham to make a move on her. Xander’s frustration increased when Graham took a hit of his splif but he let it slide. More people would show up and he’d forget about the arrogant Slythrien.

you can kill the revolutionary Cassie was entirely nervous about the party. This was her first real party that did not involve sitting at a kids table and drinking apple juice, with the occasional sneak of butterbeer from her big brother. Xander had invited her when they were down at the lake and now she was starting to regret agreeing. She wasn't a partier, her brother was. She was the one that sat in the common room and studied for her classes. Why did she think that finding some other Hufflepuff girl, that was more accustomed to the party scene, to help her with her attire. The outfit that was chosen made things worse for Cassie, she did not feel comfortable in it at all. She was certain her skirt was too short and anyone could easily see right through her shirt. Her arms crossed over her chest, in an attempt to hide her bra's color. As Cassie walked, she tried to keep her footsteps as silent as possible. She may have been nervous about going to a party but her dad always told her to never let her fears and negative feelings get in the way. Even if going to a party with alcohol was probably not what he had in mind. When she arrived at the classroom's door she poked her head in, expecting to see quite a number but only seeing three people. She slipped through the doors and closed them as silently as possible. Cassie proceeded to the professor's desk, blushing more and more with each step. "H-hi guys," she gave a small, awkward, wave at the small group. "Is there anyone else coming?" Cassie asked. She looked over at Rose and smiled. Her eyes dropped immediately after, finding the wood type of the desk far too interesting. She avoided eye contact with the Slytherin boy that sat on the desk. Her eyes wandered over to where Xander was sitting, and gave a small smile. "So, erm, when are other people getting here? Or do they just, uh, show up whenever they can?" she asked, hoping any three of them would answer. "This is a good song by the way," she tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear while her foot tapped to the beat of the song. tag: errybody outfit: herewords: 379 notes: cassie feels uncomfortable. she should get a drink and stuff. but you can't kill the revolution template by eliza @ shadowplay

On her left hand, middle finger was a gold ring with a large pale pink stone. On the ring, pointer finger was a gold ring with ‘Love’ written with the ring, and on her right ring finger was a ring that almost looked like a snitch. Charlotte got the ring on her fourteenth birthday, from her team mates at ASoM.
“Soyez ce soir bien, mon chaton,” Charlotte said to Kenna as she left the bedroom. While she walked up to the sixth floor, Charlotte began to wonder what a London magic school party was like. In America, we tended to go all out. Almost every Friday night, after the staff left the main building to go to the staff building, we would all meet up in the basement and go crazy. There was copious amounts of alcohol and much, much more. It seemed almost to easy to get alcohol into ASoM, older siblings would mail the bottles to us after shrinking them, and all we hand to do was reverse the spell to return them to full size.
Charlotte didn’t classify herself as a party animal, she didn’t have to get drunk at parties. Unlike some teenagers, she could resist peer pressure. But tonight? Charlotte was looking to have fun, and make some new friends. I’m not going to get drunk, only a little tipsy. I can have fun, and remember it tomorrow, she thought to herself as she reached the sixth floor. Shaking her head clear of her reminiscing, she pulled open the door to the class room, and walked in, not knowing what to expect.

The brunette smiled at Xander. “Yes, you are. Can't blame a girl for wanting choices, though.” She replied. Xander wasn't too bad looking. Okay, so he was quite good looking. But like she mentioned, there were choices out there. Many choices. And one of them happened to walk in at that moment. Rose tried to prevent a snort from escaping her and half succeeded. Graham was good for a fun time, that much Rose knew. Actually, she knew and experienced that last year. But she also knew he wasn't very much boyfriend material since he seemed to want any girl who would throw herself at him. Well, in her opinion that is.
She let Graham talk to Xander. She thought they were both kind of sizing each other up. That was quite amusing to her. She'd let them go at it and if she got bored... more people had better start showing up so she could entertain herself. Rose let her eyes wander to Graham as he asked her a question. “Oh, the usual. Books, essays, tests, more essays and books. My life needs some sort of excitement.” Rose replied, smiling. “Someone needs to bring excitement to my life.” She added. “Good thing Xander decided to throw a party.” Rose let her gaze move over to her fellow Gryffindor briefly.
Grinning slightly when Graham commented on the choices of drinks, Rose spoke. “Lucky us.” She chuckled once when he brought out some more bottles. So much for not getting drunk. Rose willingly took the bottle offered to her and clinked her glass against Graham's. “Here's to the future.” She said, before taking a sip of the drink. “You're trying to get me drunk, aren't you?” Rose asked the Slytherin. Or maybe she just wasn't used to the strong stuff.
She knew someone who certainly wasn't used to the strong stuff. Cassie Longbottom walked in. That was a surprise sight in itself. “Cassie!” Rose returned the wave. Seeing Cassie made her wonder if Linus was going to pop by. And how he was going to react seeing his sister here. She smiled back at Cassie, before the Hufflepuff retreated back into her shell. “I sure hope so.” She replied Cassie. Rose took another sip of the drink and noted the smile Cassie gave to Xander. Rose decided to return her attention back to Graham just as another newcomer walked in.

Post by JAMES SIRIUS POTTER on Apr 1, 2012 9:13:03 GMT -5
James had spent the last twenty minutes trying to pin down where Mrs.Norris and Filch were. It was unwise to just run on towards a party and grab the nearest drink. Considering the amount of parties James had been been to, this was one lesson learned at the expense of hundreds of detention hours over the last six years. He finally gave up, hoping that Filch was once again polishing the awards, the one job that would take him hours to complete. It was almost time for the party, and he had to get a move on.
James checked his jacket, ensuring that he had a few miniaturized bottles of Firewhisky with him. They were the last of his stock. I hope this party is worth it he thought to himself as he hurried along to the classroom. Xander was one year younger, and James had come to know him reasonably well over the years. I have the alcohol, and as long there are a few people there, I can't see how this is gonna go wrong were his last thoughts as he pushed open the door of the classroom, narrowly avoiding clashing with his classmate and Prefect Charlotte. "Sorry Charlotte," he apologized as he walked by the open door.
Some dusty desks and broken chairs were swept up to one corner of the room, and four people were already there, starting on their drinks. Rose, another of his classmates was there, along with Graham, the Slytherin seventh year and a girl James had seen before, but didn't know. "Hey guys, having fun already?" James grinned before pulling out one of his Firewhisky bottles. He pulled out his wand and waved silently, restoring it to it's normal size. Before opening the amber colored bottle, he first greeted everyone in the room.
"Hey Rose, didn't expect to see you here," he said impishly, for Rose was one person he didn't expect to see here. Rose was usually one of the better students in class. Then again, nor had he expected to see Charlotte. He nodded at Graham, whom he did not particularly like or dislike. He merely got along with him. He bit off the cork of his bottle before holding it out to Xander. He hoped no one there hated Firewhisky. "Nice party, Xander. The radio sets the mood pretty well."

"Well Rose, you could always come and find me. I tend to bring quite a bit of excitement into people's lives," he said, inching a bit closer to the Weasley. Graham was still hoping other girls would show up to this party. As pretty as Rose was, he did not want to glue himself to her all night, just in an attempt to make sure he left with her and Xander didn't. In all fairness though, the Weasleys had become a rather attractive bunch. Even the one in his own house had caught his eye plenty of times, but then again, many girls always caught the boy's eye. That was perfectly fine with him though, the more the merrier. Graham smiled as he toasted with Rose, taking a gulp of his drink, "Trust me, Weasley, even if I wanted to get you drunk, I'd use something a lot stronger if my Pa would give it to me."
At that moment two more girls walked in. "Ah, hey look at that Creevey, you might have a chance with one of them!" Graham exclaimed. One walked up to the three of them, while the other seemed to linger. "Why are you lot so shy? C'mon, this is a party!" Graham waved his bottle in the air. "It's a time to get fucked," he tuned his voice down to a normal level, taking another gulp, enjoying the burning sensation running down his throat. He examined the small girl that joined the three of them. Obviously she knew the other two, but was also completely new to the environment. No interest there. Longbottom's daughter if he was correct.
His eyes went to the other girl, Charlotte Parker, the seeker for Gryffindor. That was automatic competition. For now he would stick to Rose. That seemed like the best bet. James Potter eventually joined the group. "Ah, look at this! Now it's even, one to one," he claimed cheerfully. "Although, I would prefer one on one, if I had my way," he winked at Rose. It was quite pleasing to see more and more people show up, it meant the party had less chances of being a bust.

The radio was playing under a small hum of chatter and she hoped that more people would turn up to breathe more life into the party. At the moment it seemed like a small get together. she's dancing alone, i'm ready to go BUT SHE'S SO LOST IN THE STEREO, LOST IN THE STEREO Bert had managed to find a decent pair of dark denim, a black shirt with an electric blue tie. His trainers were a bit worn down, but they were clean now at least. Bert frowned at Speckles, who was sitting on top of the hat that he wanted to wear tonight. ”Specks, come on now. Please get off the hat.” Bert sighed at the toad, who did not budge. ”Speckles! Look I would take you if I could, but it’s not happening. There’s going to be alcohol, and drunk people. You’re too young for all that. I can’t take you around that sort of atmosphere, when you’re older maybe” The toad looked at Bert, croaked, and then hopped off of his hat. Bert grinned at him, and took the blue and black checked flat and adjusted it on his head. He turned to Speckles again. ”I won’t be long, I’ll be back by ten, I promise.” Bert told him, before he left the dormitory. Bert had heard the word about the party go around some of his classes, and in classic Bert way. He decided to invite himself to the party, as no one else was really going to invite him. Plus, a party wasn’t a party and less he was there. Or that’s what he thought anyway. None of the teachers would really question where he was going anyway, being a prefect they seemed to have trust in him, more than they did the first few years. But Bert had the tendency to take advantage of his power, not that he realised it most of the time. Finally getting to the sixth floor, Bert stood in the doorway and looked around. There seemed to be a few people there now, and hopefully the numbers would pick up as the night went on. He went in grinning, and then placed a few drinks down on the table, taking one for himself. It was very rarely that Bert ever drank, but it was a party. He didn’t feel all too bad about it. He saw another Hufflepuff there, Cassie? He went over to her and shot her a grin. Post by EMERSON LEIGH FROBISHER on Apr 5, 2012 23:24:08 GMT -5
Being late was always fashionable, wasn't it? Well, Emerson could only hope that it was with this circumstance, seeing as how she'd definitely spaced out on the party she'd agreed to go to. Really, books were something that she should only have to focus on when it came to classes, but hell, there were those rare occasions where the book managed to really suck her in. So, with a quick dig through her trunk Emerson pulled out one of those random outfits of hers and one of the bottles of vodka she'd jacked and quickly threw the outfit on. Tucking the orange strands of hair behind her ears Emerson gave herself that quick once over in a mirror as she passed, and out of the Ravenclaw dorms and down the hall she flew.
It really didn't take her all that long to work her way down the moving stairs and into the room, making sure to avoid the halls that may have held professors, Emerson ducked into the shadows. The vodka tucked under her arms until reaching the door to the empty classroom, and out fo that common courtesy bestowed in her, she knocked on the door twice before opening it and slipping in. Oh good, there was a yummy amount of people there and they were even the sort of people that she could see herself getting along with. Not that it was very hard for Emerson to walk up to someone and at least introduce herself, even if most of the faces seemed at least somewhat familiar to her.
Tugging down the tight dress and setting the vodka down on one of the desks she let herself do a once over the group of people for a second time. "Mmm, seems like plenty of alcohol to get us all nice and smashed if we chose to." Emerson rubbed her chin before moving herself into what seemed to be the group of people, a closer look at them confirmed that she'd definitely seen them before. She'd managed to come in at a time where the ending of the listing of Rose's events had stopped and right where Graham had stated something she'd often lived by, well when it came to parties anyway. "Here, here." Emerson agreed and grabbing one of the bottles for herself, took a sip of the strong alcohol. A slight shudder crawling down her spine as the heat of the drink sent a burning sensation down her spine.

”To the future,” Xander toasted with Rose. A smile crept to Xander’s lips as Cassandra entered the room nervously. She was dressed in party attire unlike Xander, who showed up in his school white button up shirt, a few buttons undone, and his red and gold tie hanging loose off his neck. Cassandra’s anxiety was endearing although he wasn’t sure the other guests would see it the same way he did. He ignored Graham’s comment, although he didn’t forget it. His frustration was rising with the Slytherin but he’d try and keep it masked as long as he possibly could.
More people began to show up one by one, including James Potter. Xander took the bottle James offered him and took a sip. ”Thanks, Mate.” He handed to bottle to Cassandra without thinking, expecting her to take the bottle from his hands. ”Generally people show up when they feel like it,” He said, responding to her question. Xander gritted his teeth as Graham opened his mouth once more. ”How about you shut that loud mouth of yours, Dawlish?” He wasn’t in the mood to deal with Graham’s attitude and wasn’t afraid to let him know.
Zara entered the room and then Bert. ”Go ahead,” He said to Zara. Xander eyed Bert as he made his way over to Cassie. He had the capability to be a very jealous person but Bert was harmless. He felt like he should place his arm around Cassandra or do something that would let everyone she was here with him but he refrained. He bit his tongue and gave Bert a friendly nod.

you can kill the revolutionary It was not long before Bert was at her side, giving her his upbeat smile. She returned it, and hugged her best friend. She was actually surprised by amount of people she knew so far. There was Bert's friend Zara, the captain of the quidditch team, Rose, James, and a few others. It was actually calming to know that she was not a stranger in a crowd of friends. Then Xander handed her a bottle of alcohol to her, a proper bottle of alcohol. It took her a minute to realize that she was suppose to take it from him. She smiled once more at him and took the said bottle from him. How was she suppose to drink this exactly? Small, quick sips, or gulp it down all at once? Blimey what was she doing here? She leaned down towards Xander, unsure of how to talk without coming off as a stupid little girl, again. "Um, er, I've never had a drink like this," she whispered in his ear. The last thing she wanted was other people hearing how inept she was when it came to parties. She was only hoping that Xander would be considerate and help her out. Almost like the metaphoric hand for her to hold through everything. That would be nice, she was absolutely terrified of what she might be like drunk. What were the personality types? How much could she drink before she just blacked out? Holy crap, what if she woke up in some strange boy's bed? She certainly did not want to wake up next to the Slytherin that was currently hitting on Rose. She stayed close between Xander and Bert, in fear of coming of as the wallflower. Although she had not said much, maybe she had already hit wallflower status. Crap. She needed to make conversation. Cassie pushed a few bottles out of the way, and placed her small body on top of the desk, so that she was facing Xander while he sat in the professor's chair; or what was supposed to be the professor's chair. tag: errybody outfit: herewords: 347 notes: omnomnomnom but you can't kill the revolution template by eliza @ shadowplay
