Anthony Ezra Kingsley Shacklebolt, Ministry Auror, had arrived at Hogwarts the previous evening. He was chosen from the Auror office to go to Hogwarts twice a month to teach a dueling class. Tony had been thrilled to learn he was chosen, knowing there were several Aurors who were considered. In the end, Tony was chosen because he was one of the younger Aurors, he had patience, and was good at teaching. Being the oldest of three, and family friends with the Potter family and the Weasley family had resulted in Tony being good at controlling large amounts of children. Today was the first day of dueling club, and Tony would be lying if he said he wasn’t nervous. Last night, he had dinner with his baby sister, Violetta. In hindsight, he should have planned to have dinner with Teddy, one of his best mates and a professor, before the class. Tony knew his lesson plan by heart, but he still worried. It had been seven whole years since he was at Hogwarts, so luckily none of the students had been classmates with Tony. He knew some of the students had brothers or sisters that Tony had gone to school with, such as Emerson Frobisher. Tony’s partner was Emerson’s older brother, Mitchell. Tony walked into the dueling arena, going straight to the platform on the far wall. As he made his way through the sea of students, he spotted several familiar faces, younger brothers and sisters of Tony’s classmates, kids of Tony’s coworkers and friends of his sisters and brothers. “Alright class! Let’s settle down for a minute. I’m Anthony Shacklebolt, I’m an Auror and I’m here to teach you how to duel!” |
