Personality: Nick is a loving family man. He loves his job, children and students. He's always willing to listen to his student's problems, and help them. At the age of fifty, he is the oldest person in the castle. Being much older than everyone else, he tends to keep to himself. He doesn't socialize much or go to others for help.
Nick is not a fan of change, any type. He didn't like the change of going to a teaching profession. He certainly didn't like the change when his wife died. Nick's an old fashion guy, and he has old fashion vaules. He's very intelligent, and expresses himself well. This comes in handy during school board meetings, and other things he has to do for the school.

General History:
Nick met Leah Anderson two years after finishing school. He was twenty, she nineteen. He was a young Auror, she a healer. Soon after, they married. Five years later, their first child was born, a son. Six years after the birth of their son, the duo welcomed a daughter. Pleased with the two children they had, Nick and Leah decided the family was finished.
When Nick was twenty seven, he suffered a horrible accident at work. He had been in the middle of a very large undercover investigation, and shattered all the bones in his left leg. The investigation, which took place in muggle London, was promptly cancelled. Nick's leg was fixed in a muggle hospital, surgery was used to correct the shattered bones. He was left with a scar running from ankle to hip, and doctor's note stating he was to stay out of the field for eight months. During his leave of absence, Nick was offered a teaching job at Hogwarts, the position was Defense Against the Dark Arts. A year later, Healers told Nick he would never be able to work in the field again. He decided to stay in the teaching career. When Nick was thirty five, he was offered the Headmaster's job, and he accepted it.
When Nick was forty, his son fifteen and daughter nine, tragedy struck the family. Leah, at the age of thirty nine, passed away after a three year battle with breast cancer. Nick did his best to raise his children after that. After his son graduated, he moved to America to work for the American ministry. His daughter, Grace, followed her brother's path, and works for the British ministry. When Grace was sixteen, she
had a daughter. Harmony is Nick's only grandchild, and truely loves his "Pop-Pop" role.
