Personality: Nathan Creevey is the golden boy of his family, and he knows it. He’s always taken to magic like a fish to water, especially in Defense Against the Dark Arts. He’s on track to be an Auror and isn’t planning on letting anything get in his way. He is as determined as he is cocky. He definitely has an inflated ego, but his brothers keep him in check. Nathan is exceedingly friendly and has a bevy of acquaintances throughout the student body. Everyone loves that Nate kid – unless the think he’s bloody annoying. He tends to let enemies roll off his back, as long as one of his brothers isn’t targeted. Still, much as he likes to flaunt, Nathan is engaged and courteous toward his classmates. He’s always been one who enjoys a laugh, but never much understood the value of pranks. Laughter at the expense of others isn’t something he will voluntarily participate in. Two things Nathan just can’t understand are unkindness and indifference. He takes his decisions and commitments more seriously than most kids his age and believes in responsibility. This is only one of many places where he differs from his twin brother.
Family is strongly important to Nathan. He would plow through fifty dementors to keep his parents and brothers from harm, even if they don’t always get along. He hardly ever gets in fights with Jesse, but he and Xander are at each other’s necks half the time. His twin brings out the competitive beast in Nathan, though he suspects the cause is jealousy. After all, Nathan gets the grades, the friends, the girls – and keeps them. Nathan has always been exceedingly good with girls. He tends to be a relationship type of man, falling hard and fast for the girls he fancies. On the occasional instance of a refusal, Nate is known to remain mopey and withdrawn for days on end. When he gets a yes, though, Nathan is a goofy romantic. In a relationship is the only occasion when Nathan doesn’t feel the necessity to maintain total control. Over the years he’s figured out how to tone down the sappiness, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t gush out every once in a while. Those peaks come with valleys, though. Nathan also has a short fuse, and he’s gotten dormitory complaints for the shouting matches that have taken place. Most of his girlfriends stick around for at least a majority of the year, though sometime between final exams and the start of next term, things always seem to go sour. Because of this, Nathan doesn’t have one specific group of friends. Rather, he finds him grouped in with the friends of his girl du jour since he can get along with virtually anyone. Nathan knows most of them by a first name basis anyway, thanks to his notoriety. Though he does a fair amount of hopping across the Hogwarts social scene, Nate does have a few quite close friends whom he has kept close with over the years.

General History: Nathan was born to Dennis and Natalie Creevey in 2007. His mother realized she wouldn’t be having another child after nine months of twins and gave him the masculine of her name. Nate grew up with a magical family in a muggle neighborhood, eventually accounting for 15% of all Memory Charms put in place by the Ministry of Magic between 2008 and 2018. Ever since they were young, Nathan has had a love/hate relationship with his twin. When they got along, they were inseparable best friends. When they fought, they would go for weeks at a time without talking to each other. Nathan has always been the voice of reason out of the pair, especially after they received their Hogwarts letters. He credits himself with Xander’s thus far avoidance of expulsion.
Nathan had his own agenda at Hogwarts too, though. At first he was only trying hard at school to impress a Ravenclaw girl, but he soon found he actually enjoyed his classes quite a lot. Outside of his curriculars, Nate has had continuous girlfriends since his third year with little more than a month or two between them. He had planned on joining his brothers on the Quidditch team in Fourth Year, but despite being a damn good flier, using actual Quaffles and bludgers in tandem were far more difficult for him than tossing around the inflatable balls from his makeshift backyard Quidditch pitch. Instead he likes to exercise his athleticism with broom races.
Nathan and Xander’s lengthy and explosive fights didn’t lose steam over the years. During summer, amidst one of these spats, Xander came back to their shared bedroom one too many times in the middle of the night with his brain cells fried. In an angry burst, Nathan conveniently left his ‘top secret’ drawer open for their father to find. His foul mood was in part the doing of an owl bringing him a break-up letter halfway through the holiday, which he is still getting over.
