"Don't apologize. He wasn't the most mild mannered of people." Chaz told him. "I am fine. I was not there when it happened. It was a Muggle bar." Nathan used to go to them but Chaz preferred to stay at home when he went out. She went quiet thinking about Nathan and if she should pay him a visit. His family obviously would but he did not have many friends.
"Youe parents must be proud of you both." Chaz said to him. And Auror and a professor. If she ever had children and they grew up to be in respectable jobs like that she would be proud of them. "I'm an only child. I assume you'll see my selfish tendencies at some point." They rarely did come out but Chaz knew she could be selfish.

He nodded as she said he was at a muggle bar. "never really cared for muggle bars. Too much smoke and such." he said as he looked at her. He preferred the pubs quiet. Served more then just alcohol. "So how have you handled his being in prison?" He asked her curiously. His hand squeezing hers lightly. "If they are proud they have yet to show it." Geoff said. "If your selfish. Well, I don't mind." he said. "Got enough of that with Z." he said simply. Not really minding the selfish bits.

"I don't really venture into the muggle world. My parents are not huge fans and so I just never felt a need to. Apart from Nathan and his family." Chaz admitted. She felt bad but she knew if she went too far into the muggle world she would end up giving something away and getting into trouble. It had been hard enough whilst she was married.
A frown came to her face and she held his hand a little tighter. "I don't know. Sometimes I miss him." Chaz told him. She wanted to be honest. "It wasn't all bad. We just didn't love each other. It hurts me that he did something so stupid that he technically threw his life away." For the first time Charlize felt her eyes sting with tears. She may not have been happy with him but she wanted him to be happy and he obviously would not be locked up in prison.
"I'm not selfish too often." she said with a sniff. Chaz then buried her head in his shoulder. Her insides felt rather messy at the current moment. Geoff was the first person who she had really spoken to about Nathan.

Geoff nodded as he looked at her. "Well, I guess that being married to him might make that a bit of heartache." he said as he looked at her. "Sorry for your loss" he said as he looked at her. Genuinely sorry she went through the heartache she had. "Don't worry about it." he said as he gently wrapped his arms around her and hugged her slightly. "If you need to let it out, Let it out." he said softly as he heard the sniff.

Charlize felt the tears roll down her face as Geoff hugged her. I'm sorry." she said quietly. And she truly was. It wasn't that she loved Nathan. She had just gotten so used to him being around. Knowing what he would say and behave like. What he would eat and drink. Knowing how his moods could change. They had had both good and bad times. And although he was not right for her and vice versa she had always hoped he would find someone to be happy with.
She looked up at Geoff. "Sorry." she said again. Her eye make up had smudged and she sniffed slightly. "Thank you. For not judging me." Chaz said. That was her biggest fear. Being judged by people for who she was.
