He shook his head. "No, I've never been married." he said as he looked at her. "I haven't really wanted to before." he said simply as he looked at her. His eyes following hers as she blushed. "You know. You turn a good shade of pink when you blush." He said softly. "Shall we go get the food?" he asked. "or would you like to meet me up top?" he asked a few seconds after.

Charlize nodded at him when he said he had never been married. She was kind of happy that he hadn't been married before. Her cheeks turned red this time and she looked away from him. Blushing was quite obvious on her pale skin. "I'll head up to the tower." Chaz told him. It would be nice to let her cheeks cool down without him around. To just clear her head and think about what was actually going on.
Chaz wasn't sure if she believed in fate but things were seemingly getting better in her life and for that she was very grateful.

Geoff nodded as he watched her. He leaned in and kissed her cheek softly. "I'll see you up there." he said as he started toward the door to the dungeons. "Just make sure you stay warm." he said as he looked at her. His eyes not wanting to lose sight of her but doing just that as he entered the corridor. He started toward the kitchen to get a small dinner for the two of them

She touched her cheek from where he had kissed it and could feel the heat. "I shall do." Chaz watched him walk out of the room before she crossed over to her office and picked up her cloak. She then walked out of the room and locked the door. Chaz always locked her door because she did not trust students and a potions classroom. Chaz then made her way up the stairs.
Reaching the Astronomy tower Chaz thought that she would probably not need to exercise anytime soon. Doing all the trekking up and down was helping her out a lot. It was nippy up here today. The winter months were setting in and things would be getting much colder. Personally Charlize was looking forward to the snow. She enjoyed the white, icy feel. Walking on and leaving footprints and skating on frozen waters. She smiled thinking about it. Perhaps during the Christmas break she would go back to France.

Geoff smiled as he gathered up the food. The house elves helping him out as he put together a picnic basket of goods and started out toward the AStronomy tower. Stopping only to grab a pair of heavier blankets from his room he moved up to the tower knocked on the door. Seeing her outside already he grinned. "Your food Madame." he said softly as he walked out into the chilly air. His skin a bit cold already he found it rather pleasant. Almost reminding him of home. "This is rather nice." he said motioning to the area around them. "It feels like home." he said as he spread the thicker of the two blankets out on the stone.

Thoughts of France filled her head and she felt homesick. Geoff had rejoined her and announced that there was food. "Merci monsieur. Though I am not that hungry. It hasn't been long since dinner." Charlize admitted. When he said it felt like home she sighed, "I wish it felt like home to me." Chaz walked over towards him.
Charlize was standing in front of Geoff just looking up at him quietly. Homesickness wasn't so bad with him around. "Let's get settle down then." Charlize said. And then realising how it may have came across, she stumbled, "I mean on the blankets. With the picnic."

He nodded as he set the basket down. "Go ahead and get comfy." he said as he looked at her. Hoping she would be comfy enough and not cold. He glanced up at the stars and smiled. This was how it should be. Not what had happened before. He looked back at her and grinned. "Settle down huh." he said as he looked at her. His grin spread slightly as she got a bit flustered. "Sure." he said. "Lets settle down." He said as he sat on the blanket with her.

Doing as he said she got herself comfy on the blanket. Chaz pulled her cloak around her a little tighter. "Oh please don't. You know what I meant." Chaz said trying hard not to blush. She patted the spot next to her for him to come and sit. "I don't even know what this is yet." Chaz mumbled quietly more to herself than to him. Giving a small yawn she looked up at the inky sky. It was not as clear as the other night so they could see less but some stars still shone through.
"You know how jealous I am of you teaching here? The dungeons are not as desirable." Chaz looked at her pale hands and held them out to him. "I'll become even paler" She wasn't actually sure if that was even possible.

Geoff just chuckled and sat next to her as he looked at her talking about losing the color she already had. "Well, I guess that just means you come visit me occasionally during the day." he said as he grinned. "Get some sun that way." He added as he wrapped the other blanket around her. "Stay warm." he said as he scooted a bit closer to her. His arm wrapping around her as he leaned back against the stone wall.

"I would but people might start talking." Chaz teased him. Geoff had wrapped her in a blanket and along with the blanket his arm was around her as well. There was a small smile on her face and with a small amount of hesitation she leaned into him. it was different. Weird but nice. It was something that she never had with Nathan. The small things that people seemed to enjoy when in someone else's company.
After a few moments she made herself comfy settling her head in the crook of his neck and taking in a deep breath. Leather, books, chocolate. It made her smile again. "Tell me more about yourself Geoff." Chaz spoke softly. She did not know much about him but wished to know more.

He smiled. "I never said it had to be nude on the roof." he said chuckling. "Besides if they talk they talk." he said. "It's not like we have anything to hide. We aren't students anymore." he said as he looked at her. His eyes roaming over her face as he held her against him slightly. "Well, What would you like to know?" he asked.

"Shusht you." Chaz scolded him half heartedly at his nude comment. She couldn't stick to her rules. She wanted to try with him and see what happened. There was a huge potential for a mess up and yet she was planning to take each day as it came. In her gut (and her heart) there was something with Geoff she had not felt with Nathan and she liked it. "I just don't like being spoken about. Had enough of that when Nathan went to prison." Chaz said to him honestly.
When he asked what she would like to know Charlize fell silent for a few moments. What did she want to know about him. "How old are you?" That was a good start. "Have you always taught? Just anything." Charlize wasn't sure what she wanted to know. Anything that he was comfortable telling her. She didn't want to pry to much because she knew she felt uncomfortable when people kept asking questions.

He smiled and nudged her back playfully. "I'll shush when I feel." he said as he looked at her with a smile. Geoff was happy around her and didn't' know why exactly. as she told him that her ex husband was in prison his eyes widened slightly. "Do you mind if I ask what he did?" he asked as he looked at her. His eyes watching her to make sure he hadn't pushed to much.
as she asked him a question he smiled. "Well, I'm 32." he said softly. "And after I finished at Durmstrang they hired me on as the Astronomy professor there." he said as he nodded. "Um.... I used to play quidditch but it wasn't exactly the best of situations for me. I didn't manage to catch the quaffle often and I wasn't the best of beaters." he said as he looked at her. "I'm not really sure what else you'd want to know." he said.

She moved slightly to look at him when he asked what Nathan had done. Charlize thought about whether to tell him or not and decided that she would. "He was sent down for manslaughter. A drunken fight that went too far." Chaz said. She did feel bad for Nathan. They had been with each other for four years and it was such a sad sight when they had sentenced him.
"You're thirty two?" Chaz repeated. He was almost ten years older than her. She hadn't thought him to be that much older. Chaz settled against him again. It would explain why he seemed more mature at times. "I am not a very big fan of Quidditch though I will listen to the World Cup." Charlize told him. Thinking she then asked, "Do you only have the one brother?"

Geoff looked at her and nodded. "I'm sorry hun." he said softly. "Were you okay?" he asked her. "I mean you didn't get hurt or anything right?" he asked as he looked at her. His Hand taking hers slowly. "I am 32." he said as he looked at her. "And I'm the same way. I thought quidditch might be fun but honestly it wasn't exactly the greatest." he said.
He nodded at the last question. "I do. His name is Zidane." he said softly. "And he's with the United Kingdoms Auror Department. Some type of specialist but he's not allowed to say. He got high commendations from the Bulgarian department though" he said smiling. He was proud of his younger brothers achievements. Even though he still felt like he needed to protect him which is why he came as well.
