Style: When Tristan isn’t at work and wearing clothes he can get dirty in, he’s probably wearing a simple tshirt and jeans, or if he’s feeling fancy, he’ll go for a tie and a white shirt. It all depends on the day and what he’s got going on. When he’s in Gringotts, he’ll probably be wearing a coat and tie. He likes to dress a little nicer when he isn’t dressed down to get in the tombs for his job.
Distinguishing Marks: Tris has his ear pierced on one side, and he's got “alting sker af en grund" which means everything happens for a reason on his ribcage. He got it trying to find peace with what happened with Tabitha.
PERSONALITY
Likes: living on his own, being a curse breaker, visiting gringotts, having a good time, going out and partying, his friends, girls, animals, books, flying, watching quidditch, going camping, being independent.
Dislikes: hard memories, getting drunk, being told what to do, not getting things done, being unproductive, sitting around, people who cry, people who are full of themselves, people who don’t do what he says, fiddling around, dillydallying.

Personality: Tristan isn't a very complex guy. He's still figuring out where he is/what he is. He has his dream job though, which is a start. He's been at it for four years, something that he's very passionate about and tries hard for. That’s just who he is. He puts his all into things. He can’t help it. He’s not a halfassed kinda guy. He’s a pretty laid back guy, but once something gets in his mind, it’s stuck there.
Tristan is the kind of guy that if something is in his head, it’s there forever. If he knew about his daughter, he’d never leave. Something he thought Tabitha would realize, but alas... He doesn’t even know he has a daughter who is six. Tristan has felt like something is missing since he and Tab broke up. He doesn’t really go out and party, and he hates getting super drunk. He doesn’t want to make mistakes. But he has his slip ups. He is a guy after all.

General History: Tristan is the youngest child to Jordan and Ella Griepentrog. His elder brother was also a Ravenclaw, and studied hard to be the good kid with a good career. Not that Tris was all that different, but he liked to have fun. Justin was a total geek, with his big glasses and braces, and constantly had his nose in a book and was practicing his spells. Tristan always knew right away that that’s not what he wanted. He spent his Hogwarts career trying to be the “it” boy.
He never thought much about Tabitha Liddel for the first few years of school. She had a funny accent, since she came from America, and she was simply a Hufflepuff. She was just a normal girl. At least until they actually started talking. They became best friends right away. Something about her was just.... amazing. He couldn’t help himself. He found himself wanting to be her friend, just so he could be close to her. When their sixth year came around... He’d finally made his move. They had become the Hogwarts “it” couple. It had always seemed like they were meant for each other, and even though they fought, they were best friends. Tristan thought his life would never get better.
They’d dated almost a year before they first had sex. Right before their final year of Hogwarts they’d gotten together over the summer. It was Tristan’s first time, and he knew it was also Tabitha’s. Sex changed everything, but it didn’t at the same time. They’d both had their seperate plans after they graduated, but they knew they would include each other. It had never occurred to Tristan that something could go wrong if they kept having sex. She was on the pill, wasn’t she? That was enough? But he was wrong. Not that he’s ever found out. Tabitha broke it off right after graduation. It left him heart broken, though he’d never show it. He didn’t have to put up a strong front at school. They’d graduated. He was a reck for weeks, but he put his mind back in his studies.
Since graduating, Tristan has gone on to working as a curse breaker for Gringotts. He's had a few flings and a few girlfriends, but he's never quite found anyone to settle down with. He's good with just chilling out. He's not prepared for anything really serious, he's working his way up in the wizarding world and trying to get his life in order.
