Style: Spencer has always been a comfort over style kind of guy. If he could go walking about naked, he would. But he can't. So he settles for wearing v neck tees and jeans.

Personality:
Spencer is an empathetic person. He generally appears to be a patient and gentle person, though don't let him hear you think he's gentle. He's someone who can sense what goes on in his environment and can be affected by it. He adapts well in situations, good or bad. He's a generous person with a positive nature. He's a compassionate guy, liking to help others if he can. He is easygoing and he sure hopes he's a likable person. He is an open minded individual, loyal and understanding. He is a family orientated person and would sacrifice a lot for them.
Spencer can be a scatterbrain. He's not someone who remembers dates or anniversaries, which is why he writes everything down in his journal. He is also someone who daydreams a lot. Spencer's mind can go off into the clouds and he'll be very easily distracted. If Spencer doesn't believe in something, he can be very unmotivated and unreliable. So don't expect him to do much if he hates whatever it is you're asking him to do. Then again, if he believes in something, no matter how much others try to talk him out of it, they will not succeed. Many of his thoughts can be impractical.
He can both optimistic and cynical, which leads to a lot of decisions made and then unmade. It also leads to a lot of muttering under his breath. Spence also swears too much. It's a bad habit, one that he's well aware of, but one that he can't quit.

General History:
For all his life, Spencer Stark felt different. He grew up in a Muggle household where magic was not known. Everyone in his family was a Muggle. But not him. Spencer didn't know it at that time. All he knew was that he caused things to disappear when he was angry. He caused his mother's favourite vase to shatter into pieces. His brother's drawings to be ruined. Little things that could not be explained.
His parents coped with it as best as they could. Their family was middle class, with both his parents working. His older brother was the perfect son. Spencer was not. But his parents loved them both equally. Spencer always feared that love would disappear because he was a wizard. When he turned eleven, they got a visitor from Hogwarts. The lady explained about Hogwarts and how it was a magical school that would help Spencer learn how to control his powers. It would be best for them to send Spencer to that school.
It took a few weeks before his parents agreed. Spencer was on his best behaviour for those weeks. He wanted to go to this Hogwarts. He wanted to learn magic, which apparently was real. He wanted to meet other people just like him. He wanted to fit in. And fit in, he did. Spencer arrived at Hogwarts, thrilled by the train ride and the platform. He was awed by the castle, fascinated by the moving staircases.
Spencer was sorted into Hufflepuff, where he couldn't complain. The students in the house was nice to him. Nearly everyone treated him just fine. He learned about the history of the wizarding world, the potions he could make to stop death and create luck, the charms, both simple and complicated. Everything about this new world was amazing to Spencer. His grades weren't the best, but he passed his subjects and had fun. He joined the Quidditch team as the Keeper, won and lost some games.
After he left Hogwarts, Spencer joined the Ministry in the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Office. He worked there for several years, before deciding to apply for the Muggle Studies opening at Hogwarts. At the age of twenty three, Spencer became the new Muggle Studies Professor. It's been three years since then and Spencer sincerely hopes he can remain at Hogwarts teaching for his entire life.
