ROSE MINERVA WEASLEY
INTRODUCTION
Full name: Rose Minerva Weasley
Nickname(s): Rosie, Red, Weasley
Age: Seventeen
Gender: Female
House: Gryffindor
Year: Seventh year
APPEARANCE
Play By: Emma Roberts
Style: Rose dresses in simple designs. Her wardrobe consists of light and summery colours, with the occassional dark colour. She loves changing up her hair colour, so don't be surprised to see her blonde one day and a redhead the next. She's a natural dark brunette. She would rather wear flats than heels, but admits that heels are pretty. She'd prefer shorts and jeans, but dresses and skirts aren't too bad either.
Distinguishing Marks: Piercings on her ears.
PERSONALITY
Likes: Quidditch, Astronomy, quiet evenings with her family, Saturdays, Butterbeer, the colour red, Transfiguration, her father, Weasley’s Wizarding Wheezes products, Muggle stuff
Dislikes: People who make fun of her familyand her, having her personal space invaded, Bertie Bott’s every flavour beans, bad hair days, failing, Potions, Mondays, falling down, grapes, getting asked to do other students’ homework
Boggart: Losing her family and ending up alone in life.
Patronus: Cheetah
Strengths: Smart, organized.
Weaknesses: Stubborn, Potions, unable to ask for help
Personality:
“I am brilliant. Well, my father tells me that. He tells my mother that too, so I’m assuming he likes being surrounded by intelligent women. It’s no secret that they were part of the war, and my mother was the brightest witch of her generation. I may not be the brightest witch of my generation, but I’m pretty close. I’m top of my classes most of the time. Except for Potions. Merlin, I hate Potions. I manage to pass it, but only by practicing like crazy and having help from my cousins who are good at it. One thing about me, I don’t like to ask for help. I think I view it as a sign of weakness or something. I mean, I’m able to ask for help, I can open my mouth and ask for it. I suppose it’s an ego thing. I just like to exhaust every single option I have before I ask someone else for help. Sometimes they’ll point something out to me and just make me feel stupid or silly. Ever felt that way? It’s not a very nice feeling.
I’ve heard that I’m like my mother. I may have inherited her intelligence and certain traits. Like putting on my robes even before I get onto the Hogwarts Express. Let me tell you, I like to be prepared. It’s always much better to get everything ready and not leave it to the last minute. So yes, I’m organized. I’m a neat freak too. I get a little annoyed when things aren’t done the way I want them to or when the things on my desk get rearranged, but I don’t go into a shouting fit. And I do go into shouting fits. Not often, because I’m generally a nice, polite, charming girl. There are just some people who I can’t stand. There are those who I ignore, because I try not to be affected by silly things such as rumours and gossip and general negativity. But I’m fallible. And I’m a teenage girl. Hormones get in the way.
I wouldn’t say I’m a flirt. I mean, if a handsome bloke talks to me I’m not going to get all giggly and blush like a tomato. What’s the point in that? Blokes actually like girls doing that? Oh, please. My personal life? Okay, I go on dates. Nothing serious. Spending time with a bloke isn’t all that bad especially if he’s interesting. I do know how to talk about things other than my studies. I’m not that socially inapt. You’re forgetting I’m a Weasley. Weasleys are awesome and if you dare to object to that, I’ll send that Bat Bogey Hex Aunt Ginny taught me towards your direction.”

General History: “My parents are Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. Yes, you didn’t hear wrongly. I suppose you would know all about them, so let’s skip to the interesting part. Me! I was born on 30 April after my mother went into labour the whole night. Remind me not to get pregnant and have children because childbirth does not sound like a pleasant affair. Anyway, my childhood was normal. I know, that sounds boring, doesn’t it? But it was normal. For the first few years of my life, I had my parents to myself. I had some older cousins who we visited a couple of times, but I can’t remember most of it. I do remember when Hugo was born though. Merlin, I was jealous of that little baby boy. But that’s normal. At least I didn’t try to kill him. I do believe there are some people who do that.
There were signs of magic from me from then on. Lights flickering, bowls breaking. Once I got hold of my father’s wand and did some damage to the wall. I think I drew on the wall with a spell. My mother wasn’t very pleased. I wouldn’t be if there was a child scribbling all over one of the walls of my house. I read books. I love reading books. In the beginning, I just flipped through them, because I didn’t even know how to read. The books did have pretty moving pictures though. Once I did learn to read… I couldn’t go through books quick enough. Lucky my mother had a huge collection of books. Father never did get the obsession me and my mother had with books. But we bonded over Quidditch. He tells me I'm good at it and have a natural talent, which I've always doubted. I mean, how bad can someone be on a broomstick?
Hogwarts! I love Hogwarts. I was sorted into Gryffindor. Weasleys have a habit of being sorted into Gryffindor, but that’s not stopping anyone in the family from being sorted into other houses. We’re a diverse bunch. Like I said earlier, I am brilliant. I got good grades from my first year on. Don’t think I lazed around and got my good grades. I worked hard for them. That might have resulted in me not having much of a social life in my first few years. I had friends, I mean, I have friends. Seven years I’ve been here, of course I know my fellow students. In my fifth year, I was encouraged to try out for the Quidditch team. Well, I say encouraged. I was forced to. They were short a Chaser and held try outs. Somehow or the other, I was in line to show off my skills. Apparently I was as good as my father said. So I got into the team. It's pretty good fun. Relives the stress too.
I’m starting my seventh year now. I passed all my OWLS, naturally. Do you even have to ask? Now I’m starting to get really nervous about NEWTS. Merlin help me. I don't think even Quidditch can help.”
