Personality:
Thad likes knowing about what’s going on, so he doesn’t get surprised. Thad is an independent person. Thad believes that in order to get what he wants, he has to do it himself. He likes his personal space and alone time, but it doesn’t mean he’s a complete loner. He might appear condescending and cold if you’re not someone who appeals to him, but if he decides that you’re worthy of his friendship, it’s something that is not easy to get rid of. He can be an absolutely loyal friend.
Thad is someone who appears not to have a temper. But he does. It’s not often seen because he rarely shows it out in the open. He doesn’t like feeling out of control and the few times he’s been furious, he took to punching the wall when he felt like hitting the person in question. When Thad is moody, he’ll ignore just about everyone and drown his sorrows in alcohol. Talking to him then is like talking to a statue. He is a stubborn fellow and sticks to his views, but knows when there is evidence to suggest he is wrong. He doesn’t admit it willingly, of course.
He’s not too concerned about how people view him. They can think that he’s a annoying know-it-all for all that matters. In his love life, Thad can be quite the affectionate party. He’ll hug and kiss the girl whenever he feels like it, even better if it’s in front of someone who he knows didn’t get the girl. He remembers important dates, listens to complaints (though he’s quick to shut the girl up with a few kisses or more if it gets too much for him) and remains faithful. As long as the girl remains interesting to him.

Mandy Brocklehurst was a woman who loved challenges. And when her friends asked her to approach the mysterious looking male in the corner on a girls’ night out, she couldn’t refuse. Cassius Warrington had just come back from Romania, where he had been unceremoniously kicked out of his job for letting a dragon escape. Naturally, he was drowning his sorrows and wondering what the heck he was going to do with the rest of his life when Mandy approached him. Cassius brushed her off, it had been a blonde, not unlike Mandy, who had distracted Cassius from his dragon guarding duties. Needless to say, he wasn’t up for any female company. Mandy pouted, went back to her friends. That was the first time these two met.
Neither recognised each other from Hogwarts. Mandy had been a rather studious Ravenclaw and had paid no attention to blokes during her seven years in Hogwarts. Cassius was a few years above her and a Slytherin who played Quidditch. Ladies? Sure, he had his fair share but Mandy hadn’t yet blossomed enough to catch his attention back then. The second meeting between these two was much better. Cassius applied for a job with the Dragon Research and Restraint Bureau in the Ministry and got it. Mandy was working in the Department of International Magical Cooperation. And they bumped into each other more times than was normal during Cassius’s first few weeks.
Mandy had sort of stalked Cassius, but well, the man didn’t know that. She approached him again. This time Cassius was in a better mood and the two started talking. It soon became a routine for them. He’d be waiting for her during lunch and Mandy would come up and tell him all about her day. Gradually, Cassius fell for the smart blonde woman. They entered a relationship, and a year after, they moved in together. Neither brought up the topic of marriage. Neither felt the need to cement their relationship with a ring and vow.
When Mandy discovered she was pregnant, she kept it from Cassius for a month. In the end, Cassius figured it out on his own after seeing his girlfriend refuse alcohol. That, and she was beginning to show a little. While he wouldn't say he was thrilled, Cassius wasn't all that upset either. The two of them discussed marriage. In the end, it was a simple affair with no more than twenty people attending.
Their first son was born soon after. It took them a while to adjust their living situation, with a baby and all. But they managed. Just a few years after they had settled down, Mandy got pregnant again. This time, she told Cassius about it. He was more thrilled than he was the first time around. And so, after four years into their marriage, they had two sons.
Thaddeus Warrington was their second son. He was somewhat of an overachiever, that much was evident to Mandy from his childhood. He walked, skipping the crawling stage. He looked at books that he didn't understand one bit. He had an aptitude for wandless magic, which disappeared soon enough. For that, his parents were thankful. They didn't need more vases or plates broken in their home. Or their older son's hair being turned into purple dreadlocks.
Hogwarts soon beckoned. Thaddeus was sorted into Slytherin, where the Sorting Hat decided it was be much better suited for him. Thad was the same sort of student as he was a child. He spoke up in class, he questioned the Professors, he scored good grades. He also found a love for Quidditch. Thaddeus had fun at Hogwarts. That didn't mean he didn't land himself some detentions for fighting or picking on other students.
Thaddeus is now in his sixth year, and while he's more than happy to continue study, he is anxious to get out of Hogwarts and onto the rest of his life.
