Personality: Amelia is a very typical fifteen year old girl, and she certainly likes it that way. Her greatest concerns are what boys are looking her way, what the latest gossip is, and what she wants to wear each day. Having lived a very comfortable, simple life, there isn’t much serious drama or many dark stories weaved into her life. Amelia just keeps living the life in front of her as happily as she can, keeping her head held high and her reputation intact.
Amelia is also the quintessential good girl. She’d never caught in the sorts of the scandals that she finds herself talking about with her friends. She doesn’t drink alcohol or smoke any sort of drug, she does her homework on time and pays attention in class, and she spends quality time with her friends whenever they really want. She’s never really taken a risk or deviated from her relatively stringent daily routine. In this respect, she can’t really be shaken up.
Because of her sheltered upbringing and choice of lifestyle, Amelia is really quite ignorant without knowing it. She’s never felt the pain of suffering in any respect, or serious fear while taking a risk, or adrenaline of doing something out of the ordinary. Though she isn’t ‘high-maintenance’ perse, she is seemingly young and innocent, unexposed too much of life before her. Being cooped up in a castle all day isn’t very helpful, either.

General History: The Abercrombies aren’t rich, but they have never struggled with money, and financial stress has never been something that they’ve experienced. Both of their children were raised in a comfortable environment where they were afforded what they could, which was enough, and a lot, compared to most other people. The family was very tightly knit, and Ewan and Lisa were particularly protective over their daughter, who they simply couldn’t allow to grow up in their eyes. Her sweet, innocent demeanor never wore off, and she grew up into the picture of perfection.
Childhood was an easy time for the Abercrombies. They lived in a suburban area of Godric’s Hollow where they made many friends in muggle and wizarding families alike. Amelia was very social from a young age, in some respects. She loved to go out and play, but she was never as talkative or outgoing as her other playmates. She didn’t like running around in the dirt or grass, but usually kept her mouth shut and simply followed along with whatever her brother or the other kids were doing.
Once her Hogwarts letter came, Amelia was very nervous to travel away from home. She had never been outside of Britain before, and certainly had never been apart from her parents for very long. The transition was a difficult one, but her brother was close by and very supportive, and she made friends faster than she thought she would. She found herself in a close group of girls very typical of the many groups older than her. Soon, she was the older girl, as were her friends, just blossoming into her maturity, but with difficultly. Amelia likes things the way they are, comfortable and controlled, pretty and nice to the eye and touch.
