I THINK I'M RUNNING SHORT ON INSPIRATION
What was wrong with Jackie? Why couldn't she own up and talk to TJ? She really really wanted to, but he would probably have given up on her by now. Besides, he had been acting too immature lately and that was something that Jackie could not stand. Nor could she handle it when all the witches at witch weekly were giving her such a hard time for dating someone who was not in a stable position. Then, after hearing that for seven hours a day, going out with TJ and seeing him acting exactly the way those witches described. It was just too much. She wasn't sure what TJ was doing at this very moment. Probably continuing on with his days just like he always did. It had been a week since she walked out on him. She was more than tempted to slurp up some Poly Juice Potion and walk by his and Davin's flat to see if they were up to anything. But that would be way too creepy.
Besides, she would have to find the right piece of hair. If her luck ran out, she would be stuck looking like someone who they actually knew and then be stuck conversing with them as she changed into her actual self. No, poly juice potion would definitely not work. She had left the magazine company with her head down, sliding her fedora over her up do in a very careful manner. As she stepped outside, her sunglasses went on and she walked down towards the muggle area of London. She did not want to be any where near wizards or witches that might know her. Hell, once she had started to write articles in Witch Weekly more and more witches were becoming familiar with her name and what she actually looked like.
At least in muggle London the most interaction she got was drunks trying to use terrible pick up lines or girls asking where she found her clothes. Which ever one she would get today would surely prove to be a confidence booster. That's what she really wanted. Although how easy it would be to turn down an alley and apparate her way into TJ's apartment. They had never gone this long without talking after a fight. God dammit, why did she have to be such a stubborn ass? He loved Quidditch, but working at a Quidditch Supply Store? That wasn't a stable job, hell she had more of a stable job than he did. Her income was not by the hour. And why did he always have to act so immature? Just once she wished he would be the serious one while she made jokes.
Sadly, she was always the serious one and in turn she always looked like the bad guy. Jackie turned into a muggle cafe and took a seat by the window just as a waitress came by to take her order. "Espresso and Ceaser salad, please, but light on the dressing," she ordered. Once the waitress was gone she turned to face the window. The blonde knew exactly how to get to TJ's flat from just about anywhere, by walking of course. Anyone could apparate there.
