Arabella could have sworn he was inside the room she'd put him in. But the little tyke could not sit still. He never could. Ever since he learned to walk, Titus just about walked everywhere. Her mother told her so. And when Ara brought him to Hogwarts, he had been excited about everything. It brought a warmth to her heart when she saw him smile. But now he was missing and the warmth in her heart was replaced by a panic. She had lost Titus before. But it was always because she'd forgotten that he followed his grandparents or his uncle. Could Emy have come in and taken him? No, not without informing her. Everyone knew how crazy she got when she couldn't find her son. It had something to do with her losing her husband and how she was afraid the very same thing would happen to Titus. For the past hour, Ara had been walking the hallways, searching for him. She had pushed her panic inwards, putting on her very polite face and asking everyone if they'd seen a little toddler walking about. This was Hogwarts, children were not commonly seen. Arabella normally locked her son in her office, to prevent him from wandering about during school hours. But she must have forgotten to do so. Several students had came in, after getting involved in a duel. She'd been busy with work and neglected her son. “Damn it, Ara.” She muttered, cursing herself. “Seriously. Can you not keep track of your own son?” She continued. She knew there was no way Titus would have left Hogwarts. But until she found him, Arabella was going to be berating herself. “Maybe you should place a tracking spell on him.” The blonde walked by a classroom, and looked in. She'd looked in several classrooms and even interrupted a lesson, which she didn't think Professor took kindly too. But in the classroom, she saw the unmistaken form of her son and the sound of his laughter. “Titus!” She ran in, knocking over several chairs in the process. She knelt down, grabbed and hugged him tightly as if she had not seen him for years. Titus only laughed, and pointed to the man beside him, oblivious to his mother's quickly disappearing panic. Ara looked her son over, found no obvious injuries and looked up at the man. “Did you kidnap my son? I'll have you know his uncle is an Auror.” She said, before she shook her head. Titus was clearly laughing and not crying. “Wait, ignore that. You were making him laugh.” She continued, before Titus wriggled himself out of her grip and went over to tug on the man's leg. oh how we found the same old fears TEMPLATE BY BROOKE~ |
